It's been a year, Cameron was eventually arrested and put into jail. Camila and Shawn on the other hand. We're strangers. They didn't talk, they didn't have any source of communication for a whole year.
Camila moved on, so did Shawn. Shawn was in a happy relationship with his current girlfriend of two months Ellie. Camila had gotten into a relationship with a boy she had met at a party five months after the break up.
The two had only seen each other at the cafe or in the halls of school, but other then that you wouldn't guess that they would know of each other, yet alone dated.
But that one party that they both attend....
