Shawn eventually broke up with Ellie after being in a secret relationship with Camila for about 6 months, and so did Camila with Niall.
The two were more then happier together, they were stronger, Better than ever before.
They were about to graduate collage. Shawn was in good terms with Charlie, he did realize that he did little damage to the problem.
Shawn still had no contact with Cameron and still hated him with the bottom of his heart. As for Charlie, Shawn is still learning to trust him, he was learning to trust people general. After everything, he is just so scared leaving Camila alone.
It's been a year, a year since they got back together and they were stronger than ever. They told each other everything. They were just so right for each other.
Shawn and Camila were currently cuddled up next each other scrolling through their phones as Shawn was playing with her hair. He lightly placed a kiss on her forehead as she smiled.
"I love you" Shawn said
"Me too babe" she replied with
"You know we're graduating soon" Shawn said concerned
"So" she asked without a care in her voice
"We won't grow apart, will we?" Shawn said
"No because I love you and i will never, not in a million years love somebody the way I love you" Shawn and he kissed her lips
"I want you to know that I love you so god damn much, nobody will ever come in our way. I love you to much to let you go. And I promise I will never let you go" he said Camila blushed as she played with Shawn hair
"I love you Camz" Shawn said
"Save it for our wedding vows Mendes"
"Can I just marry you already" Shawn said
"Impatient huh, I love you to" they both let out a laugh before sharing another kiss between them.
This was their story

A/N: okay first I wanna address that I know you ppl wanted them to get married and have kids, I would love that to. But I feel with this storyline them just being happy and together is a beautiful way to end this story.
