Chapter 1: Is This Really Love?

Sonic's POV

Hi, I'm Sonic the Hedgehog and I live with my two best friends, Tails and Knuckles. I've known them my whole life but sometimes I don't tell them everything. I don't want them to worry about me so I keep stuff from them. They don't know that I am dating someone because they think I'm not ready for that but I do it and I think they were right. I'm in a relationship with Jet the Hawk and let's just say that it doesn't feel like Jet loves me. He hurts me and takes his anger out on me and I'm scared to death that if I try to break up with him, he'll do something worse to me. I would sometimes come home with bruises and Tails and Knuckles get worried but I try to come up with a lie. "Sonic what happened to you!?" Tails yelled with a worried look on his face while Knuckles came to see what's going on. "Tails, I'm okay don't worry about it" I said while fake smiling. "No you're not, what happened this time!?" Tails yelled with worry in his voice. "Well yo-" I was cut off by Knuckles, "the truth this time." Knuckles said with a serious face. I could feel my heart beat fast, I can't tell them what's going on they'll get too worried about me. "Look, I just fell rolling down on a hill" I said trying to convince them. They both looked at each other and sighed, "Sonic we're just worried about you that's all" Tails said while Knuckles nods in agreement. "I'm okay you guys, really, I'm going to go to bed it's pretty late" I said while going up the stairs. Once I got to my room I locked the door and walked to my bathroom to look in the mirror. "Man Jet really hurt me bad this time" I said as I looked at myself in the mirror. I opened the cabinet and pulled out my blade. I looked at my wrist and started cutting myself because that's the only way to escape from my pain. I cried while cutting myself, I don't know what to do anymore. I can't tell Tails and Knuckles, they'll get too worried. I couldn't stop thinking and remembering what Jet did to me earlier.

FLASHBACK

"Jet, please don't do this to me please" I said begging while backing up. "How many times have I told you to not beg" Jet said while walking towards me. "I'm sorry, just please Jet don't hurt me" I said while tearing up. "You know Sonic, you're such a cutie but sometimes you need to get punishments" Jet said with a smirk while making a fist. "JET NO PLEASE!" I yelled and braced myself for a beating. Jet punched me in the face multiple times and kicked me in the stomach. I spit blood out and cried, I kept on thinking when will this end. I screamed for hours and I tried my best to handle it but I can't. Jet wouldn't stop hurting me, he was having fun and there was nothing I can do but scream and cry. "Tomorrow at school, you better not tell anyone got it!?" Jet yelled at me. "Y-y-yes Jet, I won't tell anyone" I said trembling and whimpering from all the pain Jet is giving me. 

END OF FLASHBACK

I started to cry even more at the thought of what happened to me. I kept on thinking is this really love or is this one big nightmare I'm in. I look at my wrists and cut more and more until I feel satisfied with it. I don't know what to do anymore, my life is completely miserable.  I eventually cried myself to sleep and hope nothing bad happens at school tomorrow.

Hi you guys, this is my first time doing a sonadow story so I may be a bit rusty with this. I hope you guys enjoy the story. 

Sonic: Why am I the one who gets abused? 

Me: Because you're the uke, now quit complaining 

Shadow: Yeah Sonic quit complaining, besides you're more adorable to be the uke 

Sonic: *Blushes* shut up Shadow

Shadow: Awww is my love mad 

Sonic: Maybe 

Me: Awww you two are perfect together, well anyways bye everyone! Say bye you two.

Sonic and Shadow: Bye everyone! See you on the next chapter!
