Chapter One
"Hopefully we won't be here for that long" a girl with beautiful long blonde hair said as she and her friend walked out of the cab and stood in front of an apartment building
"I wouldn't mind staying here for the rest of my life" another girl with a raven's dark brown hair said as she threw her bag on her shoulder. "Would make my life a lot easier"
"Look I know you don't want to go back to camp but remember....this is our mission not a vacation" the blonde said as the brunette rolled her eyes
The two girls known now as Veronica Lodge and Abigail Rhodes went up to their new apartment together that was being paid for them by their camp. Veronica Lodge is a raven-haired seventeen year old girl; with the heart of gold and a tempered attitude to contradict it. She also happened to be the daughter of Athena; Goddess of Wisdom and Battle Strategy. Veronica is extremely skilled with a sword in particular and she gained all of her mother's fighting ability. She was alongside her best friend Abigail Rhodes who had long wavy blonde hair. She was obsessed with her appearance although she knew how to fight when she needed to. She is the Daughter of Aphrodite; Goddess of beauty and love.
Originally both girls lived in the safe and sacred place known as Camp Half-Blood. However, now they were sent off to Rockland County, New York where there was a small town named Riverdale. This town housed a specific group of friends that were also demigods. However, they were not aware of this fact in anyway. Also, the two girls didn't know who the demigods were. It was their mission to find them and bring them all back to Camp Half-Blood where they would remain safe.
Veronica immediately jumped into the large queen sized bed with a bottle of soda in her hands and exclaimed "wow! I could get use to this whole thing"
Abigail came into the bedroom with her arms crossed and said "Stop goofing around and get dressed I found a place where a lot of teens like to hang-out, maybe we can find the demigods there"
"Why do we refer to them as demigods?" Veronica stated as she finished her bottle of soda before standing up. "Why can't we just call them what they really are....people"
Abigail decided to stop being rude and comfort Veronica. It was obvious that she was upset about something; whether it was the mission, or being away from camp, or just something about their way of life in general. She went over and threw a fancy shirt on Veronica's head. When she pulled the shirt off she just raised an eyebrow at Abigail.
"Put that shirt on. It's your favorite shirt and it looks beautiful on you. Plus you don't know what kind of hot guys they have here in Riverdale" Abigail said
