Chapter Thirty-One
"VERONICA!" every member of the group exclaimed as they began to see Veronica appear from within the smoke
Both Athena and Ethan's eyes suddenly went wide as Veronica looked around her new unknown environment. Jughead sprinted over to Veronica and held her tightly in his arms. She didn't realize that she was no longer in the Underworld until she saw all of her friends standing their with their weapons in their hands. She turned around to see the Gods and Goddesses of Olympus standing behind her.
Jughead ran over to Veronica and embraced her in his arms. She wrapped her arms around him and he spun her around before placing her back onto the ground.
"Where's Noah? Is he okay?" she frantically asked not seeing Noah with the group of half-blood's
"Your brother has kindly given me the last piece of what I needed to enact my plan to bring down Olympus" Athena shouted as she suddenly placed the Golden Fleece from Noah's backpack onto a chest.
The chest began to glow and sparklers of light were suddenly flying all over the room. The kids all ducked down onto the ground. The eyes of the Olympians grew wide because of what they were seeing in front of them. "What is that thing?" Jughead shouted
"The remains of Kronos...." Zeus said as he and Poseidon had a different type of look in his eyes. They both looked at one another and said "he's going to rise again. The prophecy of my son is going to rein true once his life is restored from the fleece"
Suddenly all of the Gods and Goddesses pushed to be in front of the half-blood's. They all stood ready to get the fleece off of the chest. The group all hugged Veronica being extremely grateful that she was no longer in the Underworld. They attempted to devise a plan, but the only thing they could think of was that Jughead needed to kill the original Titan Kronos.
•Before even Mount Olympus and the Gods themselves the world was ruled by Titans. The most powerful Titan was - Kronos. A creature so evil that he devoured his own children because he dreaded their existence in this world. Three of his children however, managed to escape and were capable of destroying Kronos. His remains banished to and buried in Tartarus - the Desert of Lost Souls.
It was prophesied that the male heir to the ruler of Mount Olympus would be one of two fates; either he would be the salvation that Olympus needs in time of war, or he would be the cause of destruction for the Gods of Olympus•
The Gods were now fighting against Athena. She was the goddess of battle strategy so it was incredibly difficult for anyone to beat her.
"We are so screwed right about now" Archie said beginning to give up
"Shut up Archie. We aren't going to give up there has to be a way to stop her" Betty said punching Archie's arm
"Betty...." Jughead said as he held his sword in his hands. "Maybe Archie is right. I am destined to destroy Olympus it may be time to just accept that"
