Magic

How can anyone not believe in magic?

Look around you, it's everywhere

Take a closer look

I see it at every turn

I see magic in the girl defending the bullied boy

And the power of bravery that drove her to take a stand

I see magic in the busy business men

Taking a moment of their day to drop a spare dollar

In the homeless man's cup of change

I see magic in the smile of a baby

Who only knows bliss and love from his family

I see magic in the two lovers kissing and laughing

How can love be anything less than magical?

There's magic in the dog that forever follows you around

And shows unconditional love

In the warm summer sky at the beach

In your favorite song that always gives you comfort

There is magic in everything

The fact that there is a roof over your head is magical

That you are loved by at least one person

And that you are still living and breathing and healthy

How can anyone believe that there is no magic?

Perhaps take another look

I see magic in everything
