Over it

Imagine the feeling of being wanted

Having someone hang onto your every word

And a smile appearing on their face every time they hear your name

Must be nice

The luxury of knowing you can text them at any moment and they'll be there

That you can play them like a guitar and snap every last string there is

But don't worry, just replace the strings

It'll be as good as new

These words are flames

And tonight I'll ignite them

Tonight I'll set the world on fire

Can you feel the sting of acid on my corroded tongue?

The words I'm spitting have lost their soft and glittery fluff

Now all you'll get is the chemical waste I've bottled up

Can you tell I'm not batting my eyes for you anymore?

I'm not the last cookie that you can keep out of sight and save for later

You can't reserve me like a concert ticket

I'm not going to race across the world for you

When you wouldn't move an inch for me

I'm over it

This butterfly is a spider now

I'll spin a web around the lose ends in your idealogy

I'll snap the threads dangling in your mind

Get the bigger picture- I'm done

Wanna call it bitter? I call it moving on for better

~A/N: I'm really not this bitter of a person-- but when inspiration strikes, grab it by the udders and milk it for what it's worth~
