A Picture of Jordan. (Sorry my people but he is only for Winter.)

Ashley's POV

I woke up feeling tired and dizzy, with sweat covering my body, and with my breathing slightly erratic. My heart felt like it was running much faster than the speed of light with how it was beating abnormally.

Groaning, I tried to rub the sleepiness from my system. I just had the worst nightmare in my entire life and I'm glad I finally woken up from it.

But then as I looked around my surrounding, I frown when it wasn't familiar. I realized I wasn't in my room, or even in Arthur's room.

I instantly froze. Where the heck am I?

"You're awake." A soft voice spoke up on my left, slightly startling me.

I turned my head towards the source of the voice and there I saw a guy, maybe the same age as I am, in a bed while hugging his knees. But what caught my attention are the chains wrapped around his right ankle.

"Where am I?" I asked as I rubbed my pulsing head.

"As much as I would like to answer your question, I don't know myself." The guy said sadly. "I'm Winter by the way. Winter Bradford." He said smiling genuinely towards my way.

I took my gaze from the chains on his feet and looked him in the eye. "I'm Ash. Ashley Dale Valdez."

He hummed before he sat down Indian style.

"Nice, you have a really cute name." He complimented with a smile.

I looked down, inspecting the bed I was on.

"Thanks. And I think yours is really cute too." I whispered, didn't really know how to respond back.

He giggled before smiling at me once again.

"Thanks." He said in which I nodded my head.

He smiled again.

But instead of giving him a reply, I looked down at the chains wrapped around his right ankle.

"Don't mind the chains." He spoke, noticing me staring at them. "After wearing this obnoxious thing for three years, I've already grown used to it." He simply stated like it was normal for someone getting chained up on their bed. "Anyway, they let me patch your wound up when you were still sleeping." He said and I instantly sent him a silent question as I give him a confused look.

He then motioned on my forehead and I placed a finger to examine if I really do have a wound. And surprisingly, there was.

I don't even remember how I got them.

"Uh, thank you," I whispered back a response while tracing the bandage covering my wound.

"You're welcome." He stated, beaming at me.

I don't know how he can manage to be this optimistic when he's obviously being locked up in a room, in who knows where. Much worse, being chained up. And for three years he said.

It must have been so terrifying for him. I could just imagine the horrors he had to go through all those years.

"Why are you chained up?" I asked without even thinking.

Damn it Ash, learn to shut your mouth for once. Especially in this type of situation.

"Oh, uhm, honestly, I don't know. I've been here for three years and since then I've been nothing but a slave by their master." He said and I instantly felt bad that I even bothered to ask.
