(Have these last two pictures made you feel a little better about that one about the soul mates thing?)
Gilbert
I walk downtown to Central Toronto, looking for Blue or Francis. Francis is going to die by mien awesome hands, and Blue is going to be left with Matthew while I cool down. I have no idea how long that may take, but that's what happens when you accidentally admit you love someone.
I flinch. Now Mattie's going to hate me. Which only gives me more reason to stay away from him. I can't let my feelings get in the way of his life. I love him, but there's absolutely no way he feels the same. Especially after that. The best thing I can do for both Blue and Matthew is to leave, and never return.
My thoughts are interrupted by a bright flash, then a resounding boom. A few seconds later, a fat drop of rain falls on my face. Then another. And a few more. It's raining.
Wait. Thunderstorm. Matthew's terrified of them. And there's no one there to help him cope. Without a second thought, I turn and begin racing back to the place that has become home to me. I hardly notice as people cry out at me when I bump into them. I don't notice how I'm already nearly soaked while lightning bolt after lightning bolt, and thunder strike after thunder strike, light up and explode the sky.
And I don't notice that when I race into the street a block away from the house that there's a car coming down it, faster than it should be going.
I turn to look at it, captivated, as the blinding headlights of the car trap me in their rays.
I hear the screech of tires, and I think I see Francis in the driver's seat of the car. It's about to hit me.
Matthew
"Hello, Matthew. I've come to invade." My eyes snap up to look at Francis standing in my doorway. The look on his face terrifies me, and I quickly stand up and put the coffee table in between us. "Oh, Matthew. Is that really how you should treat your future husband?"
"Are you crazy? I'll never marry you! What kind of guy kidnaps an innocent child, the tells someone that the only way to see said child again is to never talk to their best friend ever again, 'eh?"
"You will soon realize that not everything is as it seems, dear Canadia."
"Hey, you don't get to call me that! Only Alfred gets to!"
"Oh, you mean this Alfred?" He pulls out his phone and turns it on, showing a picture of my brother tied up to a chair, his face bloody and bruised. Arthur is laying on the ground a few feet back. Both are unconscious.
"Why, you-" I let out a stream of curse words I didn't even know existed, but apparently it works, as his face is beet red. "-and you will never find love, or anything close to it, with the way you treat your 'friends'."
Putting his phone away, he scowls at me. "Fine. I'll just leave then."
"Release Alfred and Arthur right now. And where is Blue?"
"Maybe later, and you will never know if Gilbert shows up here again in the next 24 hours."
He exits my house again. I sigh in relief that he's gone, then tense up as the dark sky lights up. A few seconds later, the windows are rattled by the boom of thunder. It's come. The thunderstorm has finally come.
And there's no one here to help me cope with it.
Francis
The thunderstorm begins, and I find myself smiling. But then it falls into a frown. I start the car and get ready to go to my hideout block.
That good for nothing Gilbert has gotten into Matthew's head. Before they met, he would never have out up a fight against such a strong country like me. But now, he demanded that I do something! Driving down Matthew's block, I spot Gilbert running. And he's in the middle of the street. Oh, this is my perfect chance.
I speed up, and apparently he's stupider then I originally thought. He doesn't see me until it's too late. The headlights cruise over him. I speed up, anticipating the crash.
Blue
The car starts, then moves again. I can hear the thunderstorm going on outside my spot in the trunk, and remember hearing something somewhere about how much Mila is afraid of thunderstorms. He's probably freaking out like crazy right now. And no one is there to help him get through it.
The car suddenly speeds up, then swerves before continuing to speed up.
I'm so terrified right now, and not just for my own safety.
