Hiding From the Dead: Chapter XI
Liam's P.O.V:
Even if I was looking brave in front of Bree, I was scared shitless. I still didn't trust Ricky, not even one bit. I was scared he would betray me and then tell the girls some stupid, fake story about how he tried to save me from a herd of zombies but wasn't able to. But instead, the real story would be that he actually threw me to the herd of zombies so he could save himself.
I tried not to think about it when we got out of the house. I just focused on one thing: finding food. Well... I tried focusing, because one thing couldn't stop spinning in my head. I'm an idiot. I fought with Bree over something that wasn't as important as what's actually going on my head. On the way to the house next door, Ricky noticed.
"Hey, you still thinking about your fight with Bree?" I looked at him and shook my head.
"No, it's something else. I didn't get a chance to talk to Bree about it because of all the drama I made about her losing her virginity to a guy that doesn't care about her. I guess I was just jealous. But because of that stupid fight, I didn't get to talk to her about what's really bothering me." We stopped at the front porch at the house next door. I looked at Ricky.
"What is it?" He asked and I doubted for a moment. I shook my head no. I'm not telling you. I don't really trust you. "Like I told you earlier, I'm 10 years older than you. Maybe he can help. I wasn't a teenager too long ago." Well, maybe I can. I really need someone to talk to and he's the only guy apart from me that's over 5. I nodded and sighed.
"Fine... well... Bree and I had sex for the first time, last night..." I started, but he interrupted me.
"Wait... you had sex when you were supposed to be on watch?" Umm, yeah, kind of. I shrugged slowly with a sorry grin. He sighed. "Okay, keep going."
"Well, we didn't plan it, so we didn't use any kind of protection. And now, I'm scared." He raised his eyebrows.
"Wow." He looked around, thinking. What is he thinking about? "Where did you finish?" The question shocked me. Wait what? I was confused about why he would ask me that.
"Umm, wha-what do you mean?" I wanted to be sure we were thinking about the same thing, so that way I wouldn't embarrass myself.
"Where did you finish?" He asked again and I just said "Umm." He groaned in frustration. "Jesus Christ, kid, did you finish inside or outside of her?" I widened my eyes. Oh god, yeah, we were thinking about the same thing.
"Outside." I quickly said. He nodded and then patted me on the back.
"Well, then I don't think you have anything to worry about." I sighed, nodding. I hope so. He was about to open the door, but then he looked at me. "Please tell me you didn't do it on the balcony." I frowned in confusion.
"Umm... no. It was on the couch." He nodded and opened the door. Before entering the house, he looked at me.
"Okay, remember me to never sit on that couch." I chuckled and entered behind him.

We had entered five houses already. We had found canned food and some water. In one house, the people that lived there seemed to have had twins. One boy and one girl, which was perfect because we found some 4 or 5-year-old clothes for the kids.
There weren't zombies on any of the houses. It seemed like the people had been evacuated, but I don't think that was the case. We took a turn to the left and entered the porch to the sixth house.
