Harry's POV

"Gemma it's not that easy. She's not going to take me back," I sigh.

"Maybe because you don't deal with things in the right way. Drinking and violence only leads to more drinking and violence," Gemma mentions.

"But thats just how I've always delt with things. Dad especially. I mean all you have ever done is pretend nothing has happened. I try not to supress things," I snap at her.

"It's not like that. I am not supressing anything. I just try to move on. There's no use in complaining about the past," She hisses.

"Well you can't just not remember that it has ever happened," I bring up.

"Harry, do you want my help or not? This isn't about me. I'll focus on that later. You're in more trouble with a pregnant girlfriend who won't even give you the time of day and you also put someone in the hospital," She recaps.

"Thanks for the reminder," I retort.

"I'm just saying instead of saying you're going to do something, follow through. Or better yet just start from scratch. We can go visit Cory and you two can reach a middle ground," Gemma mentions.

"He's not in the hospital anymore so I guess. He didn't press charges thank god," I say.

"Now get in the shower and then we'll go get your haircut and then go talk to Cory," Gemma plans.

"Shouldn't I call him first?" I ask.

"No..We'll do something nice. I have a plan," Gemma tells me with a smirk.

I just go to get in the shower and leave Gemma to sit and wait for me on the couch.

"Taylor," I whisper to Taylor as I shake her gently.

"Hey," She mumbles. A small piece of hair sticks to the side of her face. She had the look of sleep in her eyes.

"Your mom told me you wanted to talk," I inform her, my voice was shaking out of nervousness.

"Well sort of..I want you to know what happened but I don't think I can talk about it," She says in distress.

"I'll do whatever you want me to," I say. I needed her to trust me, I wanted her to open up to me and let me know what was really wrong.

"Actually. I have an idea!" She announces. She leans over her nightstand in order ot pull something out.

"what's this?" I ask as she hands me the small book and a stack of envelopes.

"Are you sure?" I ask her.

"Yeah it's been too long and I need to get over this," She had certainty in her tone.

"Alright..I heard today was your birthday," I try to bring up as casually as possible.

"Yeah my mom told me she was going to get the cake," She replies a cute yawn.

"She told me when she left this morning. I got you this," I say nervously.

I hand her the small brown paper bag. She opens it and pulls out a small white box. I remembered the conversation we had about her needing something to fill her jewlery box with, so I bought her a necklace with a music note charm. I found it while out shopping with the boys so I thought she would like it.
