~ Chapter 11 ~
Christina hadn't been lying. When I got back to my new dorm room, all of her stuff was gone. She really did move.
Pathetic.
I quickly walk over to the only bed in the room and flop onto the soft mattress. It was like heaven at last. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.
"Ugggg.."
I stand up and slowly make my way over to the door. At first, I feared that it was Christina, coming back to pick up something she hadn't grabbed on her way out. But when I actually managed to open it, I saw Luke's cheerful face.
"Hey." I say in a groggy voice.
With a chuckle, he replied, "tired?"
"Mhm.."
"Too tired to go to dinner?"
Shocked, I look down at my watch and see that it was already 6:30p.m.
Man how time flies.
"I guess not. Where too?"
"Just meet me out in the parking lot, okay?"
"Okay."
I shut the door and shove some cash into my jacket pocket, then run out. Luke had already disappeared.
"Boy, he's fast." I whisper to myself.
Making my way down the nearly empty hallway, I shove my hands in my hoodie pocket and watch my feet. I had already had a run in with one bitch today, I didn't need to meet anymore for a long time.
Finally at the lot, I see Luke standing next to a black Mustang. The car was amazing. So amazing that my jaw literally dropped.
"Whoa.."
Chuckling, he simply raises an eyebrow and walks forward.
"Hm? A simple car has you all astonished?"
"A SIMPLE, car? This car is amazing Luke! How the hell can you afford this?"
"Hehe.. Rich dad.."
He days this with embarrassment.
I just nod and hop into the passenger seat, followed by him as he sits in the drivers seat.
"So, where do you want to go?"
With a sigh I quickly reply, "Fried chicken actually sounds really good right now."
