Orion said nothing as my roar settled down, a breeze had picked up and I was still shivering, my arms curling around my bare body as he stood up and brushed himself off. Seconds later, his shirt landed on me with a soft thud. I flinched a little, waiting until I could hear his retreating footsteps before unfurling myself.

I growled at his shirt, staring it down as if it were him. A few people had begun to come back out, and my scars were exposed with no clothing on. I quickly pulled the shirt on and stood up, trying my best to pull it down even more as I made my way back to the pack house.

I had shed too many tears for Orion, I felt as if my body had been drained of its life ever since I've been here, and there was nothing left for me. I darted upstairs quickly, locking myself in the bathroom that was in Orion's room, and running a bath for myself.

Soon enough, I was sitting inside, my head laid back and my mind void of any feeling, just like my body. The water was scalding hot, but I didn't seem to notice as tears began to fall from my face. I sank deeper into the water, not even knowing when I was fully submerged under it, and my breath was fast escaping from me.

But the weird thing was, I didn't feel any panic or any sense of danger, I felt strangely at peace, like I wanted to stay under and never come up, so that was exactly what I did.

"Alastrine." Orion's voice snapped me out of my trance, and the heat of the water scaleded me. I quickly jumped out of the bath and threw up the water that had gotten into me. Whatever state I was in, I hadn't even known I was drowning.

It had just felt so... normal.

Orion burst in and cursed, quickly crouching down and putting the back of his palm to my forehead. I flinched again as my eyes slowly began to close, my body going limp and vulnerable beside Orion as the world turned dark around me.

I know, I know. I'm three days late for a chapter and it was horrible. I was expecting it to be so much better, but I had too much work to do and had to cut it down.

When this book is edited I'll most likely add a few more things and make it better, but for now this is what you get. 🤗🤗

So, just a warning to all of you, the next chapter may or may not contain some deep conversations between Alastrine and Orion, if any of you have theories of what the hell just happened to Alastrine in this chapter, please enlighten me because I literally have no idea myself.

And for those of you who still ship Alastrine and Orion......I'm gonna leave it there.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to watch some buzzfeed unsolved and Riverdale Theories.
