"I'm going to visit the pack's Oracle today."

The Alpha looked up from his desk to were I was draped on the sofa, his hair flicking up and down as he nodded at me.

"I heard she's been wanting to talk to you anyway, since she heard you were around. But why did you tell me? I don't really care." He said.

Surprisingly, he didn't avoid the obvious elephant in the room, instead he faced it head on, muzzle exposed like a true Alpha.

"My females have decided to dominate you after you're officially made a member of this pack, so it hurts more when you lose."

It angered me that he said dominate, that he and his wolf didn't even expect me to win against the females.
How my wolf and I would love to see the look on his face when we win, when we show all his females whose the rightful Luna, and who deserves to be the Alpha Female.

The Alpha smelled the air, throwing me a nasty look. "Don't pride yourself," He said, getting up, "The odds of an under experienced rogue winning is impossible."

I growled, baring my teeth at him as he stood up calmly. I reeked of aggression, my wolf rising when the Alpha bared his dagger like canines right back at me, a sadistic look in his eyes.

"Mutts like you don't get to be Lunas, mutts like you don't get to the title of Alpha Female." He stated, a low growl rumbling in his chest.

Picking up his work papers, he strode out of the room in a few steps, his masculine scent still hovering mockingly in the air.

I got myself ready as quickly as I could, leaving the pack house and going in the direction of what I assumed to be the Oracle's house Anya and I'd seen yesterday.

Truthfully, I was a little nervous about meeting the Oracle. She - or he - was branded the messenger of the Moon, chosen to harbour the wisdom and guidance that the Moon offered. They were - in a way - the Moon in the flesh.

I found the cabin yesterday with ease, an uneasiness passing over me as I knocked on the door and stepped back. The cabin was a light oak wood, with big glass windows and a large white door.

The door opened slowly and an elderly woman peeked her head out. She didn't have any strange moon like scents, she was normal, except she had the lingering scent of Keiko.

"Alpha Female?" She asked, opening the door wider.

Strangely, she had honey coloured hair with streaks of aging grey - not silver - she was slight short, with stubby legs and a walking stick in one hand.

"Come in, Luna, come in." She ushered me in with a flick of her hand, leading me to a room with two small children.

One of which was Marcos.

He didn't hesitate to spring up and jump into my arms when he saw me, abandoning the young girl, who looked around six, he'd been playing with and wrapping his arms around me.

"Marcos, leave the Alpha Female alone." The woman scolded, apologising to me.

I held up my hand. "No, no, it's okay."

Reluctantly she stepped away, allowing Marcos to bring me down to his height and into a hug. "I missed you." He said.

I pulled away from him, holding his shoulders in my arms and wiping away the tears that were falling down his cheeks.

Most people would think we were mother and son because of our similarity in skin colour, but we acted more like brother and sister.

"Where's Keiko?" I asked.

He pointed in the direction of a kitchen, were I could vaguely hear two women talking. One was the woman who'd opened the door, and another was Keiko.

I passed the girl who he'd been playing with - oddly she was the one with silver hair - and made my way into the kitchen. Keiko was busy washing up dishes, with her back to me.

She sniffed the air, catching my scent, and slowly turned around, a smile breaking out onto her face when she saw me.

Crying, she engulfed me in a hug, her powdery smell rushing into my nose. It brought tears to my eyes, like I was hugging a long lost mother, and I felt an immense happiness.

Keiko pulled away, wiping away her tears. "I though the Alpha-"

I stopped her. "Hush, I'm here now. The Alpha and I...we're mates and-"

Keiko gasped. "Mates?"

I nodded, pulling away from her. "Yes, the Moon has decided it, I can't change that."

She didn't bother asking about Alistair, both of us knew the same about him as each other; nothing.

After we'd settled down and the lady - whose name was Diana - gave me a cup of tea, they both asked what I was doing there.

"I'm here to see you, Diana." I answered, turning to face her.

She gave me somewhat of a confused face, asking me why as if it was some sort of mystery.

"I'm here to see the Oracle, are you not her?" I asked.

She laughed, "I'm not the Oracle, Alpha Female."

"Forgive me for my ignorance, but, who is?"

Diana left the room for a few seconds, returning with the little girl Marcos was playing and holding her hand.

"This is the Oracle." She said.
