XXVIII : I LIKE YOU

"I'm so sick of this. What if I ask you to be my girlfriend, will you say yes?"

I slammed the break and slowly looked at him.

Jaceton...

He always surprise me these days.

What is he up to?

"Man." Sev said as he rest his forehead to his hands.

"Is that really you, Jack?!" Gunner said shocked.

"Are you being serious?!" I said as my eyes widen in shock.

"You don't have to answer." He said as he looked at something behind my back. "We'll talk about that sooner...or later." He hopped out of the cart and went inside the pharmacy.

"Jack never said that to every girl he had met." Gunner said.

"I think he's really serious, you think so?" Sev said looking at Gunner.

"Yeah, I think so too." Gunner said and went inside the pharmacy.

What the heck is wrong with people? Why do they like me? What is it that they like about me? Even I can't see myself as someone that's being adored or liked by people.

We went back at the cabin and saw Jordan with Josh and Cason outside the third cabin.

"Blair, I need to talk to you." Napalingon ako sa unang cabin at nakita ko si Kuya Ryker na nasa labas nito.

"Jordan!" I called her name and gestured that I have to talk to Kuya Ryker. She nods her head as I gave the medicine to Jaceton.

I ran my way to Kuya Ryker. He smiled and invites me to have some ice cream with him outside the convenience store inside the school.

"Have a sit." He said as he sat at the chair outside the store.

"Bakit kaylangan dito pa Kuya?" I said as I sat at the opposite side of him.

"Well, hindi na ako magpapaligoy-ligoy pa." He said and paused... "Alam ko na ang lahat ng nangyari. Andrew told me about all of it. His feelings, what he had done, what Blake did, all of it. I know it all." He said as he smiled at me.

"Huwag mong sisihin ang sarili mo. It's not your fault." He eats a spoonful of ice cream. "I'm sending Andrew to the States." He said and sternly looked at me, trying to read what's on my mind.

"W-Why?"

"It's his decision." He said seriously. "He has to continue his studies abroad and come back after he 'find his self'." He said quoting his hands in the air.

"I don't know what to say...really." I said as I lose my appetite to eat the remaining ice cream.

I'm so sad to hear that Kuya Andrew suddenly wants to go abroad leaving us here, his friends, his family. I feel like I'm betrayed, but I don't have the right to feel that way. But he was my friend and I consider him as a part of my family! Bakit hindi sya ang nagsabi nito ng personal?

"I know what you're thinking." Kuya Ryker suddenly said. "He's too embarrassed to face you when he looked like a mess. Aish! My brother's all grown up. I can't believe he's in love with you. It didn't even cross my mind that he's developing such feelings for you." He said laughing.
