Even though it was the end of November, and early but not in December yet, snow was already falling down from the cloudy skies of New York. Though the city was filled with grumpy individuals who absolutely hated the bitter cold; one friend group in particular loved the hell out of it.

The snow and cold was like their home away from home. Even if the group of friends were in their last year of college, some planning to move back home at the end of the year- they wanted to spend this last christmas season together for one last time.

One of the friends in particular who was planning to move back home because his mother was sick just happened to be in a relationship with another one of the friends from the group. The one moving away was Lance McClain. And that Lance McClain was dating the one and only Keith Kogane.

The other four in the friend group consisted of Shirogane Takashi, better known as just Shiro, then theres Katie Holt, who is called Pidge by Lance, then Hunk, who's real name is rumored to be Tsuyoshi Garret, and Allura Altea. Though some people have come and gone, like Shay, Thace, and Rolo. But other than that; the six of these friends have been together from the start.

Lance was sitting in his dorm, gazing out of the window while watching the snow lightly fall to the ground. He was currently the only one awake; but from the boisterous snoring coming from Hunk he was surprised that no one else was wide awake like him.

Lance looks away from the window and turns over on his back and stares up at his ceiling. He takes his phone into his hands and begins swiping through his notifications. He checks the time and sees that its 3:56 am. He grumbles something and sighs; but before he places his phone back down on his nightstand to continue looking out at the snow- he gets a text.

The Babe <3 <3: Hey, I know its late- but the snow's really pretty. Isn't it?

Lance felt his face warm up as he chuckled to himself. He texted back: Did Hunk's snoring wake you up too?

The Babe <3<3: Not Hunk's, Shiro's.

Lance: How did we end up with the snoring roommates anyways?

The Babe <3<3: Who the fuck knows. But instead of sleeping we get to watch the snow, mind if we do it together? I think Shiro's snoring is getting continuously louder..

Lance glances over at Hunk while smiling. He texts back: How about I grab a blanket and we watch the snow outside? I think Hunk just got louder too XD.

The Babe <3<3: Now that's the best idea I've heard all damn day.

Lance sends a smiley face emoji to Keith, and right after he places his phone down and begins prepping the blankets and small throw pillows his mom gave to him in his freshman year of college.
