Hello~
Now that I'm back to being my normal Jiminneedsholywater self, my oneshots are going to be back on track for a while. At least until the next interactive oneshot- which will be starting this Saturday, March 17th.
I hope that you enjoy the second part of Colorless, literally, one of my favorite oneshots so far~
This oneshot is unedited, so please do not comment about any grammar mistakes!

"Lance?"
Lance's bedroom door creeks open, revealing no one other than his mother who is holding a plate of food. "I've been calling you for dinner for the past fifteen minutes. Are you alright? Are your eyes bothering you?" She asks while setting the plate on Lance's small wooden desk tucked away in the corner of his room. Lance feels his bed dip, but he doesn't look up from Keith's story on snapchat. "I got a call from the school today, do you wan't to talk about it?" She asks while brushing Lance's hair away from his face, to get a clear view of his bruised eye. "Do you want some ice for that?" His mother says with a kind smile, but sadly, her son doesn't respond. "Lance, sweetheart," she says again, worry laced in her voice. "I'm fine mom," Lance responds, though his croaky and scratched up voice tells his mom otherwise. "Lance-"
And that's when the brunette can't stop the welled up tears in his eyes from falling.
"All I want to do is ask Keith out- but I'm scared mom! I'm so fucking scared!" Lance yells out, falling into his mothers calming embrace as his phone falls to the ground. "We were both shoved into lockers today, and I couldn't do anything about it." The tears were getting worse, and Lance's condition was getting worse. He just couldn't stop thinking about the what ifs. "I really like him- so much.." Lance trails off, finally opening his glossy eyes to his black and white world.
"What do I do?"
Lance's mother swiftly grabs a tissue from his nightstand, separating herself from the embrace to hand it to her son. "You take a deep breath, and then start from the beginning."

Keith became deaf a few years after being alive, he fell ill at that young age; but he had his hearing for a long enough time to understand a large portion of the english language.
He even practiced reading lips, so that one day he could speak to people, without sign language.
So that he could have the chance at living his version of a normal life.
Though it was hard, getting by everyday, in silence.
~
"Hey, did you hear what happened to that colorblind kid?"
"-and don't forget- that deaf kid was beaten too!"
Lance was walking throughout the school, trying to ignore every single whispered rumor that made it's way to him. Of course, the perfect distraction made it's way to him, them being Hunk and Katie from the day before. More annoying than ever. "Laaance-" Katie says while nudging her friends shoulder, "Yeah?" The brunette responds, tightening his grip on his backpack straps. "We wanted to ask how you were doing, the whole school knows by now. Which fuckin' sucks." Hunk grumbles under his breath, which causes Lance to grimace. "Let's just not talk about it. Okay?" Lance asks, growing more and more uncomfortable as more students shoot him looks. "Fine, fine," Katie mutters. "A-Anyways, how's Keith? Do you know Lance?" She asks, looking up at her friend to meet his dark blue eyes. "I'm not sure," he responds simply, while Hunk shoots Katie a glare. "Is that Keith I see? Walking towards us?" Hunk says, squinting his eyes to see the black haired male walking towards them. "What perfect timing," Katie whispers to her taller friend, so that Lance can't hear. "Class is gonna start soon, so um- we should go. Peace out Lance!" Hunk says as he flashes a wave at his friend, Katie following after him as he runs.
