Kai x Kyungsoo

"Hyung! Playtime!"

Kyungsoo glanced up from his phone as Kai ran into the room grinning. He swung the confused member over his shoulder, making Kyungsoo squeal in shock. 

"Jongin! Put me down this instant! " He demanded, smacking Kai's back with his palms. But Kai only laughed and pretended to drop him. Kyungsoo squeaked again, clutching onto Kai's shirt as he was twirled around. Kai gave a hearty laugh as he swung Kyungsoo into his arms.

"You little..." Kyungsoo pretended to growl.

"I love you too," Kai said through his laughing.

"Aw, you guys are so gay, I can't!" Baekhyun squealed, suddenly popping up out of nowhere. He stood in the doorway connecting the living room to the kitchen, gushing.

Kyungsoo turned into Satansoo within a  split second.

"Gay? Gay? Look who's talking! You always put your hands on Sehun and Chanyeol, not to mention Lay when he goes shirtless!"

Kyungsoo wiggled violently, slapping Kai's hand. Kai immediately put him down and watched as the vocalist stormed towards his room.

"Kyungsoo, he didn't mean-"

"Stay away from me, Jongin!"

A slam of a door later, he was gone. Kai gave a raised eyebrow as he rested his hand on his hip, knowing Kyungsoo never meant anything when he was angry.

"Man, Kyungsoo..." Kai gave a sigh and turned to Baekhyun, who was starring after Kyungsoo's trail in shock.

"I'm... am I that bad? What, am I viewed as a slut?" Baekhyun sounded genuinely hurt as he looked to Kai, his eyes shining with dejection.

"Of course not. I'm sure that he's just being sensitive; you know he doesn't like being called labels."

"True..." Baekhyun tried to sound unfazed, but he was biting his lip with a slight frown. Kai wrapped his long arms around the shorter members shoulders, giving him a squeeze.

"Don't take it personally, hyung. I'll talk to him."

"Kyungs-"

"Go away, Jongin."

"Please don't call me that."

"Go away, asshole."

"Wow. I am so offended right now."

"Good."

"The key word here is sarcasm."

"Go away."

"Let me in first."

Kai leaned against the door, checking his watch; they were having this argument for ten minutes now.Kyungsoo had locked himself in their shared room, clearly unfazed by Kai's pestering. What he didn't know was that Kai had the key to the room.

"Don't make me break in there, hyung."

"Yeah right. Call Tao first, you'll need some Wushu lessons."

"He's out with Kris."

"Shoo."

Grumbling, Kai caved in. Pulling the key from his pocket, quietly unlocking the door with suppressed laughter. Sehun passed by with some bubble tea and opened his mouth to say something, only to shake his head and take a sip of his drink instead while rounding the corner. With a fake karate kick, Kai blew the door open to reveal Kyungsoo's confused, then horrified expression as a book fell from his grip. 

"Kim Jongin! You broke our door!"

"Don't worry, I used a move called Key In Lock," Kai snickered, holding up the key. Kyungsoo gave an exasperated glare and picked up his novel, flipping through the pages to find his lost spot.

Kai sat on the bed and gently took his book away, holding it out of reach and Kyungsoo grumbled. "Come on hyung, you know that Bacon doesn't watch his mouth."

"Still." Kyungsoo looked down, clearly upset. Kai sighed and kissed his head, putting the book away to soothingly rub his best friend's shoulder.

"Please don't be angry, okay? What's wrong with being gay anyway?"

"Nothing!" Kyungsoo sputtered quickly. "I've got nothing against anyone who's... you know."

"Then why did it make you angry?"

Kyungsoo tilted his head as he glanced up, looking adorable. "What would my family think?"

"It's your life, not theirs."

"Since when did you get this good at giving answers?"

"Hyung, what did you tell me when I told you I wanted to date Krystal?"

"To do it if you wanted to."

"And what was your argument when I worried about what the fans would think?"

"It's your life... oh."

They shared a laugh, the last bits of tension disappearing for good. Kai opened his long arms and Kyungsoo caved in, crawling onto his lap to press against his chest. Kai gladly wrapped his arms around the scrawny member, rocking them playfully.

"Okay, okay, you win this time. But be warned, one more similar-"

"Aw, again?" Baekhyun giggled as he passed the room. Kyungsoo looked up glaring, and Kai sputtered a laugh when Baekhyun sprinted away.

"I'm sorry please don't kill me I love you! "

Kyungsoo laughed along with Kai, the happy sounds reaching Baekhyun; he reappeared at the doorway, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment as Kyungsoo laughed harder. Kai grinned along, hoping that Baekhyun finally learned his lesson.
