"Kyungsoo, can you come here for a sec?" Kai called. I got up, not looking away from the cookbook, and made my way to his bedroom.
"Yes?" I called back. He didn't answer.
"Kai? What is it?" I called.
Again, no answer.
"Kai!" I entered his room, annoyed; only for him to pounce on me.
"Snuggle time!" He said, and we fell on the bed. I dropped my book and tried to wiggle out of his hold.
"You annoying- ugh!" I rolled my eyes.
"Thank you for the compliment," Kai said and leaned his forehead against my cheek. I smiled and hugged him back, unable to say no. He was too much of a good snuggler.
"Can we play cards?" He said after a few minutes. I hummed.
"I don't know... I was planning on cooking some dinner..."
"PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE-"
I smacked his head. "Fine, stop being a baby!"
"Yay!" he cheered, jumping off the bed. I laughed and crawled after him. Soon he was beating me 3-0, laughing and teasing me. But little did he know-
"I win!" I yelled, throwing my cards at him. "I win! I finally won!"
Kai moaned and fell back into the pillows. "How did I let you win? DARN IT!"
"Bow down to me, peasant!" I laughed victoriously. "Go ahead, give the king a prize!"
Kai sighed as he sat up and spoke sarcastically. "Like what, your majesty?"
I mockingly puffed my chest out. "Something all the others will never get from you."
"I mean..." He trailed off and I smacked him.
"Jerk. Just do the first thing that comes to mind."
Kai smirked and leaned in, allowing his signature smug grin. I froze, then closed my eyes tightly. He very gently and very calmly pecked my lips.
"How's that?" He said. I opened my eyes to find him still close.
"For a game of Uno, fine," I muttered, blushing furiously. He laughed and bumped my nose.
"Come on, another round." He said, shuffling the cards. "If I win, you have to cook for me."
"Oh, you're on!" I said, laughing.
