Ross's pov :

"THEY DID WHAT?" Rydel freakes out. I could see everyone was ..shocked?

"God,I knew it! I knew it! Ross was so happy when he came from Australia and he had this special glow! And you guys were so fucking close I knew it!" she laughed and I put my hands on my face.

"Okay can we let this go now? Pleasee" Laura whines and I chuckle a little. My face still in my hands.

"Yes Laura but I'm still asking you later!" Rydel winks and moves from the bed.

Laura groans.

"Oh on a totally unrelated note, will you guys be going to Colorado for Christmas and New Years?" Laura asks.

I look at her and then glance at my siblings "Yeah" Riker says. Laura nods but smiles.

"You can come with us?" I look at her, kind of with a pleading look , it was too soon for Christams that's for sure but that's not gonna stop me from throwing that idea out there.

Laura's been with us to Colorado one year. It was one of the years that we were dating, it was the most beautiful time of my life. We had a lot of fun together, I felt so in love, it was all too magical to be true.

We were so in love. So young and stupid but we didn't care. I just remember falling on the snow with her..laughing, talking about our fututre near the fire place..how we wanted children. Yes we were that in love. We thought we were gonna be together forever.

It was that crazy love you dream of.

And because it was a dream.. we woke up.

And look at us now. Reality slapped us across the face. She's not my girlfriend anymore, she can never be, we're friends, and I don't feel in love.

At least that's what I think.

"Ross" she whispers.

I wanted to slap myself for saying that. Of course it will it's a no! We're not dating anymore, I'm not sure I can bring her there anymore. I'd be so hurtful because the memories are simply beautiful..hurtfully beautiful.

"It's okay if you don't want to, it just slipped-"

"No Ross. I'd love to go but I don't know if I'll be able to, I mean I don't know how I'll spend Christmas this year and what I'm gonna be doing, it's still too far away and I can't predict the future but.. it I'd be able to I'd love to go..of course if you guys wouldn't mind me being such a nuisance" she giggled and I smiled.

That fucking giggle.

"Darling I'd be a pleasure to have you around this year. I hope you'll be able to come" mom smiled walking in the room.

"Aw thank you. Me too"

I pressed my lips "So what I'm hearing is... yes" I smirk.

"Try again" she wrinkled her nose at me and I chuckled.

"Yes?"

"Ross!"

"What?!"

"It's a maybe!" she huffed. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Okay I just completely lost track of what we were talking about"

"Me too" she pouted and I laughed.

"Hey Laura!.. and the Lynchs...uh my daughter here would like to sleepover? If you wouldn't mind of course" Mia's mom smiled coming in with her hand in hand.
