My feet were in sync with each other, helping me walk with a steady pace above a gravel rode. The crunch of the gravel, the jingle of my knife and my breathing where the only things that could be heard. I suspiciously look up from my combat boots and turn around, making sure that nobody was behind me. I continue walking down the path to what seems to be a small cabin. I hear a couple of groans coming from the left of me, so I silently pull out my knife from my holster in my jeans and slow down a bit. I look to the grassy area on my left then to the forest on my right, listening for anything. Then I saw it. Two walkers heading straight for me. I spin on my heel and wait for the one that is closest. As soon as it gets 1 foot away I plunge my knife into its skull with a tiny bit of trouble getting it out. I struggle to get the knife out as the other walker gets closer which I eventually do, but I get flung back and the walker lands on top of me. It spits blood on my neck, causing me to gag and stab the walker in the head. I push the body off of me and silently curse to myself because of the blood on my clothes, standing up and dusting them off. I grab my knife and clean it off with the walkers shirt and place it back into my holster. I speed walk to the cabin but stop once I enter the gates of the yard and notice an cat who needs help. My kind nature couldn't say no so I go over to the cat that is laying on its side, sounding hurt. I turn the cat on its side and notice a huge bite from a walker and that the cat had the cloudy Grey eyes just like walkers. I stumble back and put my hand up to my mouth and choke a little bit, holding back tears. I keep on walking to the front door trying to forget what happened as I pulled out my knife and twist the doorknob. I opened the door and wrinkle my nose from the smell, killing two walkers that stumble out in front of me. I examine the upstairs part and walk into a room the has "Olivia" in big cotton letters on the door, breaking down at the sight in front of me. I find a dead girl on her bed sleeping, looking peacefully. I sit on the ground and cry silently, holding my head in my hands.

*Flashback*
"Skye! Why are you crying? Please answer me! Sk-Skye behind you! AAHHHHHHH!" I couldn't move. I couldnt save her. I hear her screams every day.

*End Of Flashback*
I grab a pillow that didn't look as dirty as the others and scream as loud and as much as I can. Soon, I lose my voice and just sit down on the floor taking the pillow with my tears on it with me. I get up after a little bit and search the house a little more forgetting about my tantrum in the other room. I go into what looks like the parents room and find two pistols. I put both in my holster and hear the door creak outside, causing me to collect my gun from my holster again and slowly but surely make my way down the hall. I point my gun down the staircase and squint my eyes to find a very bright flashlight in my face. "Put your hands up and give me all of your weapons. Now." a brown hair guy asks me but I just stand there with my gun still pointed at the guys head. "No. Back away or i will shoot. I've been through enough. I'm not going to do anything you tell me." I say fiercely. With a quick movement I aim my gun at his right leg and I shoot, causing him to fall to the ground and roll around like a baby. I walk down the stairs and grab his flashlight and gun and put it on the other side of my jeans along with the flashlight. I walk out of the house and a whole horde of them are coming for the screams. I run to the back and jump over the gates while listening to the walkers chew the guy inside the house up. I run through the woods and try to go as long as I can without my lungs burning. I finally stop by a tree and plunge down at the roots, trying to catch my breathe and calm my lightning fast heart beat. I finally do, but am interrupted by another crunch of leaves to the back of me. I stand up immediately and look around the tree and spot a rabbit. I take out my pistol and aim, shooting and catching the fair sized hare. I grab it and start a fire to roast the bunny and keep myself warm with a bunch of sticks and a lighter. After the rabbit was done I happily dug in and wiped my face after I was done. Now I need two very important things, water and shelter. I start my journey North East, and end up finding mud. I grew excited and dug into the mud to look for water and I eventually found some. I filled up a couple of bottles I found while running and filter the water with a technique I learned. I boiled the water and drank both bottles which quenched my thirst quite a bit. I came across a small city and crept in through the side. (I know what you are thinking. Why would you go into the city isnt that dangerous? Well Im trying find ideas! Anyway.... Back to the story) I admire the tall buildings in front of me when Im snapped out of my trance by a low moan behind me. I spin around and come face to face with a walker. I pull my knife out and cut my arm open but ignore the pain and stab the walker in the head. I return my knife back into my holster and examine my arm closely to check if anything got in it. I tear My shirt sleeve and place it over my injury. I wince but again try to ignore it. I hear screams of help the next second, and fear rushes over me. I do the one thing that I could think of at that moment. I run towards the screams and witness a young girl being cornered by walkers. I pull out my gun and shoot into the sky, catching their attention. They turn away from the girl and lock their attention on me. As soon as they'll come for me and are away from the girl I wave my hand to the right where I came from and start shooting the walkers coming towards me. I run towards the direction that I told the young girl to go, and hopes that she got out alive. I run and run until I finally make it back to the forest. I see her and a man standing in a blood raging position. He has a gun to her head and his other arm holding her tightly. I put my hands up in surrender and slowly walk forward. "Don't take another step or I will shoot!" he says through gritted teeth and a hiss. I chuckle and respond with, "You don't have the balls!" he clicks the gun and holds it tighter against her head and closes his eyes, and I jump forward trying to stop the gun but its too late. The gun goes off and a body falls to the floor. I have my eyes closed because I knew what I was going to see. I slowly open my eyes bravely and see the girl on the floor, blood pouring out of her head and the guy sitting against the tree. "What the hell did you do?!" I yell and grab my gun. I shoot him in his chest and scream as loud as I can, which isnt that loud because my voice was gone but I guess the walkers heard it because I can hear the groans of them echoing through the woods. The guy pleads for mercy but I just walk away and punch a tree hard, making my knuckles bleed and swell up fast. I sit down in front of the tree and put my hands on my head, single tears falling down my face. Once again I get up and start walking back to the gravel road that I was on, this time dragging myself and walking with a slouch. I find a small gas station and pull myself inside, wondering if there was anything I needed. I go behind the counter and find a medium sized backpack and pack two of my pistols, my flashlight, a bunch of water bottles and soda that I found from the store, food and snacks that I found, and my lighter. I swing the backpack around my shoulder and go to walk out of the door when I hear humming. I go to the door behind the counter and look through the window, to see a cell phone ringing. I didn't know if I was going crazy or not but I did see it. I back up a little freaked out and jog out of the door and head for the small barn just up the road. As Im nearing it I hear a roar of thunder and begin walking faster until it develops into a run. It starts pouring and Im forced to go inside the barn without checking it first. I grab my knife from my holster and hold it up near my chest, ready for anything to come attack. It was quite dark so it was hard to see or hear because of the rain. Next thing I know a herd of them come from the shadows and I lower myself and try accepting my fate, until a voice yells over all of them and starts shooting all of them. Once they were all dead I stand up and put my hands up instantly in defense, but they just yell for me to come with so I climb up the ladder almost falling due to the shock bolting through me. Get a grip! I think to myself and keep going up. Someone reaches their hand down for me and I hesitantly take it before being pulled up and to safety.
