The next time I wake up, I find myself in the dark of night, surrounded by windows that are letting moonlight shine through. That's enough light for me. I attempt to get up, but find myself in deep pain as soon as I try so. My hand flies to my stitched face and I quietly yelp, as to not awake the others. I take my hand away and look down at my left arm that also has new stitches added, and the other ones that Maggie put are gone. I look back over to my left arm and find that water is being pumped into my bloodstream, so I rip it out and go dizzy again. Stop being such a baby and get up before anything happens! My mind is screaming at me to jump up as quickly as I can, but my body doesn't really want to cooperate. I blink my eyes rapidly, as to keep them open for the first time I have woken up and to keep me alert, just in case anybody tries anything. Instead of a harmful person, its Beth. "Hey." she says in a high quiet southern accent which sounds adorable. Her blue eyes meet my green ones and I can tell what she's thinking. She's looking at my face and imagining what's happened. "It was Dawn wasn't it?" she says concerningly, and rushes over as stealthily as she can without making much noise. "Yea. The cuts and stitches on your face, did she do that to you too?" I ask while looking at each one. She had one on her cheekbone and the other on the top right side of her forehead but I did notice something else, as there was a cast on her right wrist that ran up half of her arm. "What happened to you?" I ask while holding her arm in my gentle fingers, trying my best not to hurt her. "Before I was here and everywhere else, I lived on a farm with Maggie and my daddy Hershel. My mother and brother Sean was killed so I decided to try and take my own life by cutting my wrists. I guess they as in "Dawn" tried to make it look like a big deal so that I'd have to work for her." she says while looking down at her wrist, and holds up her left one to show me the cuts on her forearm. "I get it. I used to be that way as well. And she had no right to hurt you like this. What she's doing is sick. And I want to kill her for it." I say while looking back up at her. "Daryl and you a thing?" I ask randomly as she was about to leave, but she turns around and smiles. "We could have been if he would just let me in and not shut me out. He told me that I want ever going to see Maggie again but he's wrong. I will and her and I will sing together and live happily with one another." she says before giving me one last hug and walking back to her room. I watch her go back to make sure that nothing happens to her, and she gets in fine so I lay back down on my bed after shutting the door. I snuggle up with one of the pillows and let myself feel the pain as my stitches rub against the pillow, but oddly, it allows me to relax and keep calm. After I was done with that I look at the pillow and find it spotted with fresh velvet blood. I flip it over and lay the back of my head on the pillow and sleep straight, to make myself breathe easily. I fall asleep and in the morning am awaken by bright sunlight and a tray of food by my bed. There's a note on it that says,

"Listen. Rick is coming today. You have to be ready for it. I gave your clothes back and your weapons and hid them secretly under the bed. Put them on and grab your weapons when they get here. Good luck."

She included a small red lollipop under the plate that had my eggs and bacon on it, so I smiled and tucked the lollipop and the note in my sleeve when one of the officers came in. "Your getting out of here. Hurry up and get changed into whatever you have or want. After he closes the door and leaves I change back into my outfit and tuck my weapons secretly in my clothing just in case. I grab my backpack from Dawns office and find everything except the food in there. I put the pistol Beth got me in the backpack and tucked my machete back in my holster. "Come on girlie." I say to Beth when I find her in her outfit.

I look around and find that were being led through some doors and down a long hallway until we stop halfway down in front of double doors. We stand there for a while until we see the group from behind the doors and my heart jumps with excitement. Im pretty sure Beth feels the same because when she looks at me I can see the spark in her eye that shows me that she excited too. We watch in anticipation as the doors slowly come open and one by one our group files in. I nod at Rick and smile at everybody else in the group. I get switched first, and watch as Beth gets switched second and were about to walk out of the doors until Dawn says, "Now I just need Noah." everybody stops in their tracks especially Beth and she turns around, while looking at a non surprised Noah. "That want part of the deal." Rick says firmly and Dawn just says, "I got Beth as a prize after loosing Noah. Now im losing Beth so I need Noah back." she says tilting her head eerily, and then snaps her vision to me. "Or....I can have that one." she says while looking straight into my eyes until Noah says, "No its okay. Ill go. Its me she wants." he begins to walk off until Beth yells for him to wait, and catches up to him and gives him a big hug, when Dawn mumbles, "I knew you'd come back." Beth immediately and slowly lets go of Noah, and turns to face Dawn as she slowly gets closer to her. She stays right in front of her and shifts feet until she says, "I get it now." in her beautiful high southern accent. Everything that happens next goes by so fast. Beth stabs Dawn in the neck with a pair of scissors, and Dawn shoots her straight through the skull. I scream out in pain like a part of me has just been lost and Daryl struggles to cope until he shoots Dawn straight through the head as well. I raise my gun and mow down the remaining of the people until one yells stop. I look down at Beth's lifeless body and tear up. "YOU DID THIS YOU SICK-" I can't even finish until I grab my machete and melee kill the rest. I shuffle over to Beth and hold her up in my arms, while Daryl is breaking down and taking her from my arms. Rick helps me up and guides me through the hospital doors until a big red fire truck shows up and a pile of people that I so dearly missed comes out. Maggie and Glenn are relieved at the sight of me until the very last person comes out. Daryl. He carrying Beth bridal style and trying with all of his might not to scream and go insane. Maggie on the other hand is doing just that. She screaming and carrying on which makes me want to scream as well, but I don't. Abe, Eugene and Rosita look very confused, so I mouth sister to them as tears are flooding out of my eyes and streaming down my face. I look up at Rick and his eyes are very watery and red, like Glenn's, so I hug him very hard until he can't breathe, so I let go and sink to my knees. I shift around so im sitting on my bottom and bring my knees to my chest and lay my head on my knees while biting the crap out of my fingers. I look up and see Maggie still on the floor in shock and Glenn trying to bring her back, and Daryl still cradling a lifeless Beth in his arms. And here I am, cradling myself. I didn't know what was wrong with me. She wasn't even my sister but I still carried on because she was Maggie's and she meant something to her. So that means I should mourn with her because she was so sweet and gentle and so nice to me even though she didn't know me. I value people who are still like that nowadays. After about an hour of mourning, we bury her and let father Gabriel give her beautiful last words.

"Beth wasn't just a brave girl, she was kind hearted and loyal. Before we buried her, we found a note hidden in her cast. Go ahead and read it." Father Gabriel says handing me a piece of paper. It read,

"Skye, stay alive. For me. Take care of Maggie and Daryl. Stay strong and keep your head up. Its up to you to keep everybody in check. Tell everybody that I miss them and love them, and that Ill see all of them soon. Love you Skye.

P.S., remember who the real enemy is.

~Beth."
