Followed by a handful pebbles,
A slingshot...

Nothing to lure,
An empty threat.
With each item,
Raven shoved his doubt aside.
Still two pets to find.
In his own world trapped,
He took corner by corner.
Only something soft and warm
Against his arm,
A horse's voice brought Raven back.
One missing pet left.
