Brody woke to find a muffin next to Lou
He knew it was from you know who
He picked it up and chucked it away
"Oh no Buck, no points for you today."
Lou was still asleep
His heart was in trouble deep
He couldn't let that creep
Steal his Lou.
She said she'd give Buck a chance.
She said so much to him with a glance.
But he wasn't about to fight fair.
Delicious smells filled the air.
"Good Morning, Sunshine!
You're food is ready
And your favorite muffin.
Just a little added somethin'"
"Peaches and Cream
Tastes like a dream.
Nice of Gyn
To include them."
"I have to admit
I've never tasted it.
But I'm willing to
Give it a try."
He waited until Lou
Swallowed her bite
And kissed her outright.
No need for a translator
His feelings on his sleeve
He was one smooth operator.
But Lou pulled back
All too quick,
"That was a dirty trick."
But he'd seen her smirk
"Well, I am a jerk."
Lou frowned,
"You really think this plan
Will work?"
"So long as Buck
Doesn't press his luck.
And somehow
Screw it up."
"Buck?" Lou looked around.
Her plate and half eaten muffin
Fell to the ground.
"Where is he?"
"He already left."
"Then so must we.
It's not good if he's
Too long
in Shamus' company."
Brody tried his best
Not to brood
But Buck even when
He wasn't here
could spoil his mood.
They got into town
Brody got the information
Of what went down.
"Brody and Shamus
Have left for BG
Okay Lou,
Leave the rest to me."
In no time at all he was
Back by her side.
"I got the proof.
Come on, Lou
Let's ride."
