Secrets
Gyn sleepily made her way to work
But something on the street made her look
A horse was tied outside Lou's shack
And on the window was CG's cat.
"Weird." Gyn said as she approached the window.
She scratched Kitty's ear and was rewarded a "mew"
She peered inside and was surprised with what she saw,
Billy was in bed, snuggling with Lou
Gyn stepped back, confused at the sight,
What she saw was just not right.
But she knew better, she wouldn't dare,
Best not to mix up with such affairs.
Gyn walked on and made her way to work,
AJ was already icing cupcakes by the bulk.
She absentmindedly did her routine
Making lots of errors all morning
By lunchtime, AJ couldn't stand it anymore,
She served fried noodles when the order was pork.
AJ pulled her aside when the crowd has left,
"What's the matter little sister, you're not yourself."
"Nothing AJ." She quickly replied
"I just didn't sleep so well last night."
AJ knew what she said was a lie.
He asked again, but in Cantonese this time.
Gyn told AJ the truth
About what she saw that morning at Lou's
AJ was quiet but looked very serious.
"We stay out of it Gyn, its none of our business."
Gyn almost shrieked when arm slung on her shoulders,
It was none other than Loren Order.
"What are you two whispering about?
Whose business is it that we should stay out?"
"It's nothing, Angel, we're talking about cake,
We were still wondering what flavor to bake."
Loren's eyebrows arced to the sky
If looks could kill, AJ would die.
"I know I'm being pacified, Leung Jin Li,
Don't think "Angel" will work on me."
AJ sighed then took a deep breath.
He hoped Loren can keep a secret.
"Alright, I'm telling, but promise me,
No one else must know, but us three."
