Moonlit Forever

Daniel POV

Seeing the sun starting to set, I heard Alpha Chris mumble to several of his men and soon the valley was flooded with light. Turning to nod at him, we waited in silence. Before long, we heard the rumble of engines. Feeling all the warriors with us tensing up I heard a few shift into their wolf forms. Standing taller, I saw the run down cars pulling up from a hidden pathway. Car after car they slowly came to a stop in a line. Watching as a man with a buzz cut got out of a red car before the door closed. Growling as he came closer I could feel my wolf coming to the surface as my teeth elongated and my hands ached, willing me to change. Feeling my eyes shift and the growls rip through me, I stalked forward.

"What the fuck, Sean? Is this your idea of some sick twisted joke?" I flung out as I recognized the guy with the buzz cut. Seeing his face turn into a sick grin I could feel my wolf urging to come out more so. "Where the fuck is Maddie?" Throwing the note on the ground in front of him, I watched as his smile grew bigger. "I know you have her, where is she? I'm here just like your note said to be." I spat out the words. Watching him gesture to a guy behind him, I saw more car doors open and his wolves started to exit the vehicles. Hearing my wolves growl behind me, I tried to ignore it as I watched a big guy with matted hair drag a girl with a black bag over her face out of the car. Growling and shaking almost uncontrollably, I watched as he ripped the hood off of her head. Taking in the site of her, I could feel my wolf calm down slightly that she was alive. Seeing her cuts had me glaring at Sean again. Catching a look at her face, I could see her plotting his death in her eyes. Smirking at that, I turned to look at Sean again. Seeing him staring at me with a bored face I was about to say something when a flash caught my eye. Turning to look, I saw that Maddie had ripped the chains on her wrists, something I had overlooked, out of the hands of the big guy and was now trying to strangle Sean with them. Seeing him swipe at her and several other wolves move forward had me jumping forward, shifting I ran towards Maddie, intent on protecting her. Hearing my pack rushing forward to help save their Luna, I let out a fearsome growl, and knocked Maddie out of the way as a large wolf came to the aid of Sean behind her. Hearing her growl, she whipped around only to see my wolf. Bowing her head slightly at me, I watched as she wrestled with the cuffs for a minute before Sean tackled me from behind in his wolf form. Rolling as we scratched and bit each other, I felt us coming to a stop. Once I was on top, of our struggle I jumped off and slid back on fours, bumping into a tree on the edge. Seeing Sean struggle to get up, I watched him intently. Circling each other, I let out a vicious growl as he started to take off back towards the fight. Chasing after him, I pinned him down and started to bite at him, when I felt a large body slam into me and knock me down, feeling the breath get knocked out of me, I sat up to see two other wolves and Sean now circling me. Growling, I shifted back into human form as they started to charge. Jumping over one, I slammed his head into the ground as I landed on top of him while grabbing another by his ear and yanking down, the last one got by me and bite the back of my calf. Rolling over, off the other wolf, I got up, limping slightly I circled with the three wolves as we sized each other up. Watching as they charged again, I lunged at Sean, shifting mid jump and started to attack. Grazing at his belly with my feet, I bit down, aiming for his neck. After several minutes of having the other two wolves attacking my sides, I relented and went back to circling them. Limping more now, with several wounds free flowing, I watched as Sean walked gingerly due to the scratches on his belly in several spots I could see where his intestines looked ready to spill out. Getting ready to charge again, I felt a painful sensation on my leg. Looking down I saw a silver trap, clamped over my leg. Howling out in pain, I watched as the three wolves started to come at me. Stabilizing my back legs so I wouldn't have to move them, I geared up to defend my spot.
