Waking up I stretched and noticed I was in my bed. Looking around, I squealed in excitement when I realized I wasn't dreaming. Jumping out of bed I started to head downstairs when I caught a look at myself in the mirror. Seeing the dirt and grim on my face and cheeks, had me quickly detouring towards the bathroom. Turning on the water I walked over to my trash can as I started to pick the bandage off of my hand. Wincing as it stuck in some places, I pulled it off and threw it away. Looking at the wound, I huffed out before examining my other cuts. Seeing them scarred over had me smiling slightly. Reaching in to test the water, I smiled as I felt it, moving to take my PJ's off, I wondered who had dressed me as I stepped in. Sighing out, I let the water run over me for a few minutes before grabbing my shampoo and lathering up my hair. Getting done a bit later, I stepped out of the shower and toweled off. Throwing on my back up robe, a fuzzy blue one, I slowly padded to the door and headed down the stairs. Stopping about halfway down I could hear my mom in the kitchen humming. Smiling I bounded down the rest of the stairs and slid into the kitchen. Hitting the chair with my hip, I winced but continued on my path. Hugging my mom, I felt her turn around and hug me tightly back to her. Standing like that for a minute, I heard a voice clear from at the table. Looking up I saw my dad. Smiling sheepishly at him, I walked over and curled up on his lap, letting him hug me like he used to when I was little. Seeing my mom smile at us I stuck my tongue out at her and let my dad hug me for a few more minutes. Eventually letting me go, I went to the coffee maker and got myself a cup. Sitting down next to him, I sipped slowly on my coffee as I smelled the bacon frying. Smiling I rested my head on my dad's shoulder as he looked over some pack reports. Hearing the door open and my brother walk in bickering, I laughed out. Stopping and staring at me, they both yelped before tackling me in my chair with hugs.

"Geez guys! You act like you missed me or something!" I told them with hugs around their necks. Seeing them smirk, I narrowed my eyes at them.

"More like seeing a ghost, sleeping beauty. You've been passed out for like 5 days!" Jessie said, falling into the seat next to me. Gapping at him and Stephen I turned to my mom, who was putting plates in front of me and my dad. Shooting my brothers a warning look she looked at me reassuringly.

"Honey, it's not that bad. You needed the rest. You were healing! Dr. Lee wants you to swing by today so he can check out your hand just to make sure it's doing ok." Looking down at my hand, I heard her cuff both of my brother's ears. Letting out a sigh, I sat forward and started to dig into my plate of food.

"How was it to sleep for that long?" Stephen asked when my mom had gone back into the kitchen to grab dad's plate. Hearing him growl at Stephen had me letting out a giggle.

"Since I didn't know I did that how would I know?" I shot out with a cheeky grin. Wolfing down my breakfast, I finished my coffee slowly as I listened to my family talk about pack issues. Feeling slightly out of place, I excused myself to go upstairs and change. Kissing my mom on the cheek as I walked to the dishwasher, I loaded my dishes up and then quickly dashed to my room. Closing the door slowly I let out a sigh before walking over to my closet. Seeing my jean button down, I grabbed it and a pair of black shorts. Throwing on some underwear and my outfit, I threw my hair up in a messy bun and reached for my shoes when a knock on the door stopped me. Reaching my shoes quickly I walked over to get the door. Seeing Daniel on the other side, I blinked back surprise.

"Hey, you're mom said you were awake." He said rubbing a hand over the back of his head.

"Uh, yeah." I spouted out lamely, watching him smirk at that, I just rolled my eyes lightly before stepping out and closing my door. Grabbing his wrist I dragged him down the stairs with me. Yelling out at my parents, I dragged Daniel out onto the front porch. Stopping for a minute, I watched as he laughed at me while I hopped to put my shoes on. Getting them on finally, I spit my tongue out at him and started walking towards the hospital.
