GUYS OMFG I ACTUALLY GOT SKATES AFTER A LONG TIME SO THIS RELATES TO ME RN WOOO (even tho I was planning to get the reader skates before I could irl)
"I-I um..." you see Yuri looking at his feet "I could get you some skates?... If you'd like, I guess"
Your eyes sparkled "REALLYYY?!?!" in a flash you gave him a hug "Thank you!"
"Let's go get some?" he asked, "Yes please" as he is leading you to the skate store in the rink you keep thanking him as it means so much to you. "STOP THANKING ME SO MUCH OK?? I'm just doing this because you said I inspired you to keep going" he looks away.
You were about to say something when you realize you already reached the skate store, there was a lady at the cashier smiling at us. "Welcome, what would you like to get?" she said
Yuri told the lady "Could I get some skates for her?", "Sure let me measure your foot size darling" You followed her to a seat and put your foot on the measuring tool. The lady said "If you'd like you can choose a set of skate covers and blade protectors as I get your skates, I'll be back with them!" You looked at Yuri, "You know you don't have to do this for me?" he responds "I don't have to but I want to".
"Alright then, what design and colour should I get for the skates, Yuri?" You questioned, "Heh... It's your choice, would you like?"
So you silently choose (f/c) colour and (Imagine a design or just no design eg. Shiney/Sequin flowers/Sequin patterns/Shiney patterns/plain with favorite colour/etc) for your skate covers, then you went to the blade protectors and chose (f/c) colour with (Sparkles/No sparkles/ Neon) on it.
"Is this alright, Yuri?" you were still guilty that he's getting you these beautiful skates, "Oi, just get them, I told you I'm getting these for you because I can" He started getting irritated at your guiltiness towards him. Then the lady came back with the skates "Here just try them on and then come to me if there's something wrong or if you are going to purchase the skates" "Ok" You and Yuri said in unison, you both looked at each other and laughed for a bit. After that short laugh and trying the skates you both went to the cashier to pay, "For your size it'll be $350, the additional cover and protectors is $50. So that's $400 please" the lady explained. You looked at Yuri "JEEZE, I'm sorry making you pay this much!"
(Dear readers, Don't worry about me my skates were a little less than $400, just a little)
Yuri just ignored that comment and paid the lady and she said to Yuri "You're so nice to buy skates for your girlfriend there" you both went red "She's/He's not my Girlfriend/Boyfriend!!" you both yell, the cashier just giggled "If you say so~" she went to the back of the store leaving you and Yuri to think about what she said.
.... It was an awkward silence with both of you flushed...
Until Yuri spoke up "H-here's your skates, I got these for you because I care about you..." you saw him become a beat red "I guess... It was love at first sight?" he said rather awkwardly, you both were so red you both couldn't bare to look at each other. You started screaming internally 'OMFG HE JUST CONFESSEDDDD!!'
Then he quickly pressed a soft quick kiss on your lips and started running out of the store, he turned back for a second to yell out to you "That was my first kiss!" and continued running. Yuri was just so nervous that he ran outside the ice rink, he was so red he could melt ice with his heated cheeks. You were in shock and you quickly grabbed the skates he paid for you and went outside to catch up to him, he was sitting down with his face in his knees and arms wrapped around his legs.
You sat next to him and kissed his cheek, you explained "1. That was my first kiss too, 2. I love you, 3. ....I'm glad you care about me..." You rubbed your head on his shoulder (like a cat lel)
He turned to look at you, his face was still red "Be my girlfriend then?" his voice was so calm. You smiled at him "Yeah, i'll be yours", then you both snuggled eachother.

....
....
"Yurio?"

My gawd it's hard to get used to new skates, anyways see ya later.
