Blackstar turned and twisted in the cavern of Jadewing territory. He found his own cave and walked in.
"Ah... home at last!" He said loudly, as he landed walking into his cave. He unsheathed his sword. He put the blade down on his stone table and he wiped the precious blade shiny with a leather towel.
"Blackstar!?" A young dragonet asked behind him.
"OH! Eternity?! " Blackstar jumped around recognizing the voice almost immediately. " I was uh.. working on a prophecy." Blackstar said fake smiling, as he dumped his blade, sheath, and leather towel into his wooden chest beside the table and closed it.
"Really? Am I in it??" his tiny friend Eternity didn't quite understand how a prophecy worked.
"A prophecy isn't quite something you just makeup randomly, you have to concentrate hard and let it come to you, you don't always happen to be in it." Blackstar replied wittingly. "So not everyone is in one. But if you want to know one, here is an example:"
Eternity sat down on the soft carpet as Blackstar spoke.
"Hatched of ice, hatched of night
Cursed of moon's shining bright
Longs for power of his own
Comes to steal your very throne"
Blackstar looked at Eternity his eyes were wide in shock. "Woah." was all that managed to come out of little Eternity's mouth.
Blackstar got a dizzy headache, suddenly a prophecy came to him. He quickly wrote it down on a scroll:
Blackstar's prophecy:
"Seven dragonets must hear the call
One reaper will make Pyrrhia fall,
For the dragonets can't delay their time.
They will see future in a devastating rhyme.
Beware the one who can enchant, They will make an evil grant.
For theyŕe the one for all to fear, Unless they find the golden tear.
A purple egg with an animus inside, One egg with two will change the tide..
One with a mix of black and white, one part dark one part light
A flaming egg with of another kind,
A bright Rainwing that will change your mind.
A stormy egg that will be advising, These dragons are arising..
One time in the land of ice, The dragonets will will not suffice.
She will bend your minds and serve caster,
But keep in mind you cannot recast her.
They will search for the pool of gold, A legend who can turn young from old.
They will search for it, they might fail,
This failure might end their tale.
With eggs born on a three moon night.
Watch their destinies take a flight."
"AWESOME!" gasped Eternity poking his head in to see the scroll which the prophecy was written on. Blackstar handed the scroll to Eternity, he bounded up and down when he read it. Eternity was still trying to read. He should be teaching him. Blackstar felt a stab of guiltiness. Eternity had tried to read a fantasy scroll that one of the librarians, Stalagmite, gave to him once. There was too little imagination in it so this scroll made him really excited the way it seemed to be an unreal reality to come true. Eternity looked up at him frowning.
"I don't remember any purple eggs from the hatchery." Eternity said. Blackstar looked at the scroll shelf. "There are no flaming eggs. That would hurt the egg. " he added. He looked up at Blackstar. Blackstar cringed.
"Um, Eternity." Blackstar somehow said. "The prophecy said it won't become true until a year from now..." Eternity jumped up,
"What?" he yelled. "Then, I will have to wait a long time to meet the dragons that are in the prophecy..." He looked down sadly. "I... I was looking forward to meeting a Amninimus, a fiery dragon, and..." He trailed off, and sat down. Blackstar put his talon on his tiny shoulder.
"It's ok..." He started. Eternity looked up sadly. Blackstar immediately felt that it wasn't ok. "And it's called Animus. Not whatever you said."
"Whats going on?" Asked Valkyrie (who was one of Blackstar's friends) as she poked her head into Blackstar's cave. Her emerald earrings dangled on each of her ears. Swinging from side to side. She was a Magenta colour at the moment. Magenta was her favorite colour.
Blackstar looked up, "Just uh... I'm teaching Eternity what a prophecy is." He said as he reached for the prophecy scroll.
"Can I see?" Asked Valkyrie in her nice-yet-high-pitched-voice-that-makes you-wanna-do-what-she-asks voice
"Fine..." Blackstar said, handing it to her. In the meantime Eternity came bounding over to Blackstar's weaponry and saw Blackstar's sword.
"I never knew you went onto the battlefield Blackstar!!" Eternity said loudly as he turned around and tried to pick up the sword with was ENORMOUS compared to him, because of this he fell backwards and the sword sliced through the wooden chest behind him. Then the weapons inside the chest scattered all over the room, it was only three or four. He laughed and started picking up all the weapons. I need to see the prophecy. He thought. For Eternity.
"Meet you at the library!" Eternity said as he bounded out of the room in the direction of the library.
He remembered that he had two sky-fire rocks in his pouch that he found a couple days ago. I could use those. He thought. I could enchant one to make a dragon warp in time, and the other make a dragon teleport across a big area. "I'm a genius." He smiled at himself.
"What was that?" Valkyrie asked Blackstar.
"Nothing..."
"Oh, well here's your prophecy Starie, I really like it."
"What's taking you so long?" Eternity said. He peeked his head into the cave entrance and then ran back to the library.
"I'm gonna go chase that Rascal." Valkyrie turned, and than sprinted off.
"Blackstar paused. Lost in thought. " Hey Valkyrie!" He yelled after her. "Wait up!" he trotted after his friend.
