Dragons In Havoc

Chapter four (Keo)

Keo spiraled up into the sky and heard a huge thud. Something flickered into the sky and for a split second there was a huge black dragon. Keo camouflaged his scales, Darkstalker!! Keo thought. Wait, He is headed towards the mudwing kingdom. Keo flew out of the trees and flew as fast as he could towards the camp on the beach. Keo turned, just then he remembered the time he last saw his friends, their faces happy, unaware what was going on. He remembered how they used to play even with the huge war going on, but they didn't care.

But he still missed sun time and how the rainwings would show off their sloths to him, he would give anything to see their faces as he proudly blabbed how the galactic winglet found him.

The rainwings meant good not bad but, he still wanted to see them. Of course he has to move past that, I hate the dragon who tried to destroy my tribe! Keo thought angrily.

But now it was up to him and his new friends to save the Seawing tribe. He swooped down to the Seawings, changing the colors of his scales to a red as it were a siren. One of the seawings stopped and looked up. I'm so lucky that I spotted Darkstalker moving towards the Mud Kingdom. Keo thought.

"Oh it's you Keo" said Tidalwave

"Yeah, I have to warn you about something" said Keo

"What?" Said Tidalwave and Sapphire.

"Darkstalker is about to attack the mudwing kingdom, somehow he knew that we were headed towards the Seawings first after the Rainwings." said Keo.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN DARKSTALKER IS GONNA ATTACK!?" said the both of them simultaneously.

"We just need to leave now if we are going to warn the skywings and the mudwings!!" said Keo a tiny bit angrily .

"Okay Okay!" said Tidalwave, "I will go tell the Seawings we are getting ready to leave.¨ The seawings looked at each other and leaped into the sea, they didn't go far off shore though, they looked as if they were as fast as a skywing except in the sea. Is that really how fast seawings swim? Keo asked himself, impressed. Keo flew back to Blackstar and the others.

"Oh you're back already, how did you warn all of them that fast" said Eclipse

"I just asked Tidalwave and Sapphire to spread the word" announced Keo

"Oh well that's smart" Said Eclipse. Eclipse quickly looked at Stormgrazer and Blackstar, ¨We need to leave now, as soon as Tidalwave and Sapphire get back.¨ Eclipse said, she marched through the sand to Keo, ¨When are they getting back?¨ Eclipse asked, eyeing the sea.

"As far as my concern, I don't know." Stormgrazer piped in.

"Well we are already here so let's go, come on!" Sapphire said appearing out of nowhere, Tidalwave close behind, breathing heavily. Keo turned to Eclipse, who now was looking up at the sky.

"I can't believe we were so stupid, of course Darkstalker would find out our plan and switch up his plan." Eclipse said, shaking her head. That doesn't make sense. Noted Keo.

"Well if we are going to move out aren't we supposed to do that pronto?" said Stormgrazer. Eclipse glared at him, and then nodded.

"Blackst-I mean Stormgrazer is right." She said. She adjusted her wings. "So." She said with a smile, "Who's going to leap toward probable death?"

Keo hated flying large distances, sure he liked it in the rainforest because everywhere you turn there is a resting spot. But when you fly with a group, you can't stop, especially when you have to warn a huge tribe that certain death is coming. I wonder when the Dragonets of Destiny are going to notice us. I mean, I don't care but seriously, we saved at least two tribes from certain death. I wonder if the tribes are going to say it wasn't us. Keo thought, he saw Eclipse frown, and as quickly as the frown came it went.

Blackstar did it too.

"So, how longer?" Keo asked, swooping in front of Eclipse and Tidalwave.

"I swear Keo, if you, Tidalwave, or Sapphire ask that again, I will give Darkstalker a sacrifice." Stormgrazer said. Keo frowned in disappointment. Huh, that was a first, Stormgrazer usually doesn't talk. Keo thought. Keo looked ahead, and sighed.

"I wish somebody here was a animus!" Sapphire complained loudly. She eyed Blackstar, and Eclipse.

"If one of us is..." Eclipse said looking uncomfortable, "...if we were animuses wouldn't we enchant something already?"

Sapphire eyed her suspiciously, "That's exactly the same thing I would say if I was a animus." Eclipse suddenly stopped, she hovered and turned around,

"Is it just me or does it feel like someone's following us?" Eclipse shot towards the ground, landing far down. What the? Keo thought. He started to flap down. Sapphire started to follow,

"Did I say some-" Sapphire started, and turned around. She yelped, and shot down where Eclipse was. A huge shadow lurched over Keo.

"Guys down here!" Eclipse yelled, Keo shot down, the wind whistling in his ears. Keo made the mistake of glancing over his shoulder, a dragon that must of been as big as a mountain was behind him, his eyes grew wide, they had been probably flying for 30 minutes and a Nightwing as big as a mountain was a few miles behind him. Keo's eyes widened, Darkstalker! Keo thought, his talons reached the ground and he tumbled over. Why is Blackstar smiling at Darkstalker? Thought Keo. I mean surely this is his first time seeing Darkstalker. Unless he has history with him.

"What should we do?" said Stormgrazer. Keo looked at Sapphire, she looked terrified. Everyone is terrified. Keo realized. Blackstar stared intently at Eclipse and Eclipse shook her head. Blackstar just landed and it looks like Blackstar is having a conversation with Eclipse. Keo backed up. Eclipse turned her head away from Blackstar and gazed at Darkstalker.

"We... We can't possibly do this right now." she said, she extended her wings. For a terrifying moment Keo thought she was going to fly, but she folded her wings while flashy and reflective. Keo looked at Tidalwave, he looked scared, but he was flashing randomly. Sapphire was doing it too. Aquatic Keo realized. He looked at Stormgrazer, he was staring at the grass. Take a deep breath Keo. Keo thought. Somebody will figure this out. They have too.

Keo stopped, it felt like somebody was in Keo's mind. CHICKEN POT PIE! Keo thought loudly.

Eclipse and Blackstar jerked their heads back. MINDREADERS! And if... wait what if they are ANIMUSES? Blackstar looked surprised. Blackstar's animus!! I knew Eclipse was hiding something, but what if Eclipse is animus!! Keo thought horrified. It did look like they were communicating through mind. Plus that would mean that they had lied to me the whole time!! thought Keo.

"I'll show them..." said Keo very quietly. "I'll show the whole Galactic Winglet."
