Dragons In Havoc

Chapter twenty (Tidalwave)

Tidalwave rushed through the passageways with Sapphire, his talons clicked on the floor. He felt a cold talon on his shoulder. He turned around and saw Shadowhorn, his eyes were full of concern.

"Darkstalker has Keo." Shadowhorn said. The sound seemed to echo through Tidalwave's mind.

"What?" Tidalwave questioned. Keo... Why? Tidalwave thought. Tidalwave turned around and ran, Tidalwave heard the other's talons racing after him. Tidalwave followed a path that seemed right. He soon heard voices. KEO? Tidalwave's mind thought. Tidalwave fought the urge to shout for Keo. Tidalwave slowed down and eavesdropped.

"Well... Well...." Tidalwave heard a deep voice boom. The voice must of been Darkstalker. "You're the new prisoner." Darkstalker said. Tidalwave heard a Plop! Please don't let it be Keo. Tidalwave thought. A light voice quietly said "Ow!" Tidalwave peared through the ice. Tidalwave saw a rainwing get up. KEO! Tidalwave thought. He heard Shadowhorn and Sapphire lean on the ice with him. Tidalwave heard the ice crack. Tidalwave immediately yanked himself off of the ice. He signaled them to do the same but it was too late. The ice wall cracked and Shadowhorn fell. Sapphire managed to grab onto Tidalwave but they both fell. Tidalwave quickly got up. He looked up at Darkstalker. The dragon was smiling slightly.

"SO! There is some of the dragonets who keep on following me! How rude." Darkstalker said. Tidalwave paused. This wasn't at all how he thought Darkstalker was! It kinda reminded him of Blackstar. Tidalwave looked at Keo. Keo was right next to Darkstalker, cowering in fear. That was exactly how Tidalwave should feel. But he didn't. For some reason Tidalwave felt very calm. What? Is this animus magic? Did he enchant me? How dare he! But I'm sure he did it for a good reason... Tidalwave thought, he shook his head. But the feeling of being friendly towards Darkstalker went away. He felt kind of embarrassed to be a stalker of this amazing dragon. Oh, it was that stone Eclipse gave me, she made us feel fine. Boy this is creepy. Uh-oh I shouldn't be thinking this Darkstalker is a mindreader!

"So a dragon called Eclipse of the voidwings gave you a trinket." Said Darkstalker as a sneer managed to crawl across his snout. Darkstalker's voice wavered for a second, like he cared for Eclipse. "What is a Voidwing? And why is her middle name Eclipse but everyone calls her that not Queen Halo?" Darkstalker interrogated. Tidalwave shivered at just about every word Darkstalker said.
