Chapter twenty-one (Blackstar)

Blackstar soared over and past Stormgrazer with ease. "Come on soldier, you can do better, you lived for a full two years of the war in Sidaria." Blackstar said as he turned his neck to face Stormgrazer.

"Well I'm not a bounty hunter who's used to killing Siradaria's most deadliest bounty hunters." Stormgrazer mumbled back.

"True, very true." Blackstar said. He soared over the ice, the Ice Kingdom was a few seconds away. Eclipse, Blackstar, Eternity, Apocalypse, and Stormgrazer just used the warping gem. Blackstar looked at Eclipse, the stone that gave her unlimited animus powers had one flaw, if her animus magic was used she would get very tired, it mattered how big of a enchantment it was, Blackstar was the only one who knew that, except for the Voidwing royal family. Blackstar flew down towards the Ice Kingdom, he flew over the great famous wall. What was that thing about the Icewing's wall? Blackstar thought. He just shrugged, he heard a whistling sound and he looked down, an icy arrow as big as him was making it's way towards him, it had incredible speed.

"BLACKSTAR!" Blackstar heard Eternity yell. Blackstar flew back, the arrow moved, targeting Blackstar, Blackstar waited for impact, he heard a whoosh of wings and heard fire. Blackstar opened his eyes and saw Eclipse breath fire at the arrow, melting it. The arrow soon fell down to the ground, now water. Blackstar noticed that he held his breath. He took a deep breath. Eclipse turned towards him,

"I SWEAR! YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THEIR WALL!" She yelled at him. Blackstar mumbled to himself "I should have researched more." Her paused feeling as though he should at least say thank you to his first friend.

"Oh Eclipse!"

"What now?" She turned around in her own sassy way.

"Um..." I mumbled. "Thanks for saving my life from that arrow! Next time possible I will save yours."

"Sure. But I didn't think you even had a live." and with that she walked off.

Blackstar turned away and flew over to the rest of the wall, he could hear Eclipse huff at him. Blackstar dived, he saw many Icewing silhouettes in the distance. He landed, cracks formed around his talons on the ice. He didn't even realized how hard he was digging is talons into the ground until now. He heard the rest of the group land next to him.

He made his way towards the Ice Castle, the Icewings glared at him, but they didn't move a muscle. The Kingdom was filled with injured Icewings. Blackstar flew inside the castle, flying through the halls. He heard talking, it sounded weird, like somebody was talking underwater, or through a long tunnel, Blackstar followed the voice, he came into a huge room where Queen Glacier was on the floor, lying down, unconscious, a big dragon was in the middle of the room. It took Blackstar a couple of seconds to realize that was Darkstalker.

Blackstar looked around the room, he was pretty sure that Tidalwave, Sapphire, and Shadowhorn were in here. He looked up at Darkstalker.

"Where are they?" Blackstar interrogated. Darkstalker gave him a evil, but easy look.

"Well, of course I will tell you, but you must tell me about this Sideria and how to get there." Darkstalker said. Blackstar stopped.

"Heh.. You want to know? Well my tribe, the Jadewings, have more animuses then all of Pyrrhia." Blackstar was over exaggerating but he wanted to scare Darkstalker as much as possible.

Following is plan Eclipse joined in, "We also have Dreadwings, who can persuade even the most stubborn of dragons." She added. Darkstalker looked at her with a little bit of caring in his eyes. Blackstar stood in front of Darkstalker, trying to act brave. He gave Darkstalker a hard stare. ALRIGHT MISTER 'COOL GUY' I'M SICK OF YOUR LITTLE GAMES LET'S GET SERIOUS! His mind said sharply. He realized what Darkstalker most likely wanted: Family. And friends. Someone trustworthy enough to be a good friend. Blackstar felt bad for him. Blackstar looked at Eclipse without swiveling his head to much for Darkstalker to notice.

"Go find Tidalwave, Sapphire, and Shadowhorn." He whispered. She nodded and slowly backed up, bumping into Eternity, Blackstar saw Eternity shivering. Blackstar suddenly felt the cold hit him. He wrapped his wing around Eternity to keep is small friend warm. Darkstalker obviously didn't care about Blackstar and Eternity right now and he turned towards the Icewing Queen. The Icewing Queen shivered and bowed her head, showing that she gave up.

"Where is Foeslayer?" Darkstalker said, growling, "I might spare you if you tell me where." The Queen nodded weakly, and lead Darkstalker along the hallway. As they passed Darkstalker hatched a evil smile, and whacked his tail towards Blackstar. It him with such a big force that Blackstar's vision became dim. I am never ever serving him... Blackstar thought, he was whacked into the wall and ice crumbled he fell to the floor. Everything went black.
