Dragons In Havoc

Chapter nine (Blackstar)

Blackstar gasped for breath. Come on! You don't need to suffocate me Apocalypse! But soon his friend backed up. He ruffled his wings and sat down elegantly.

"I was so scared that you wouldn't come back from the war, that I accidentally burnt down a tapestry in the royal palace, the guards started chasing me and I knew I had to get out of the kingdom, so I flew out of there as quickly as I could and then I hid, and then that pretty purple dragon scared me- OH and how come you're not burning to death?"

"The 'pretty purple dragon' is Eclipse." Blackstar told her. " and

"And I AM SO HAPPY YOU'RE HERE!" Apocalypse squeaked happily, sending another echo in the cave. Blackstar rolled his eyes as Apocalypse jumped back and forth. Yep, that is definitely the little dragonet I knew. Blackstar thought.

"Wait. Are you his girlfriend?" Apocalypse asked Eclipse. Eclipse looked surprised. "Because I told him before he left that he should get one." Apocalypse went up to him and whispered, "Nice job." Blackstar shook his head.

"NO!" Blackstar shouted. "She is not my girlfriend."

"Never in a thousand years." Eclipse said.

"What about one thousand one? Because that's one year after a thousand." Apocalypse said. Eclipse kept quiet.

"Please don't ever think that, it's getting annoying when you're thinking that I'm his girlfriend." Eclipse said. Apocalypse looked surprised.

"You are a mind reader?" Apocalypse asked curiously. Eclipse nodded.

"And I can see the future too." Eclipse said a little bit too proudly. Her grin wore off. "Hey... why didn't you tell us if you knew other dragons and dragonets than us, Blackstar?"said Eclipse worriedly.

"Well... I know so much dragons from Pythira and Siradia that I almost lost count of them all." Said Blackstar in is matter-of-factly voice. " because technical every dragon i've met i've known.

"I mean like friend-friend" Eclipse said.

"Relationships? I'm not in one." Blackstar replied.

"YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!" Eclipse slapped Blackstar on the snout.

"Ow ow ow. I have no friends other than you guys except for a Dreadwing named Darkfang." black star rubbed his jaw - we're eclipse struck. "I'm bleeding you know!"

"Pyther-what-now and Sida-what-the?" Keo said.

"Well, shouldn't we fly away from here?" Sapphire said. Blackstar nodded but immediately remembered the day of he made the prophecy it was one bloody day. It included seawings attacking him and other dragons of Pytheria, but mainly seawings. So he looked away from her as a solution.

"Lets just stay under the cover of the trees." Tidalwave said in his usual let's-just-hide-cause-I'm-you're-normal-everyday-nervous-seawing voice.

Blackstar waited as everyone dived under the forest. Apocalypse skipped after them, Blackstar followed, glancing in every direction, just in case.

It was two days after they escaped the skywing palace, they all trudged throughout the forest. Darkstalker must of decided to visit another tribe. And I miss him. Blackstar thought. Keo popped out of the branches and held out a apple to Blackstar.

"Food?" He asked as he held out a crisp red-and-green apple. Blackstar stopped in surprise, but then shook his head and kept walking.

"I'm not hungry." Blackstar replied. Keo flew up beside everyone and offered the apple. Blackstar watched as everyone declined. Keo ended up shrugging and taking a bite. Blackstar looked up at the front, everyone was walking slower than usual, while he walked happily forward. He stared up at the trees. Something rustled, he froze. Another thing rustled, he whipped his head toward the sound. He heard some more rustling everywhere. He looked back at the group, they stopped too.

"What is that?" Keo said.

"Yeah, what is that?" Tidalwave said. More rustling, and a few cracking branches.

"Scavengers!" Blackstar answered almost immediately, in his I-want-to-kill-what-

ever-the-opponent-is voice.

"Guys..." Apocalypse started. Suddenly there was a sliver blur. Blackstar backed up, suddenly a thick pair of chains wrapped around Blackstar, stunning him with electricity. He peered through the chains and immediately yelped, covering the chain net was electric eels! The eels shocked him again, stunning him into not moving. Eclipse yelped, flinging the net off her and flying up. She must of enchanted herself. Another chain flew around Eclipse and she hit the floor and stopped moving. Must of been knocked out. Blackstar realized, Which will happen to us! He thrashed sending more, and more chains on to him. Blackstar roared, something jumped ontop of him and hit him with spear, he blacked out.
