Chapter ten (Apocalypse)

Apocalypse shook her head, her head ached. What was that? Apocalypse thought. She tried to remember what Blackstar exclaimed it was, but she couldn't. She raised her head, she tried to get up, something tugged on her foot, it was rock, connected with a chain, that was trapped in by a wall. Apocalypse heard some sudden squabbles, she yanked her head up, sending pain throughout her body. A scavenger ran up to her and squabbled again. It reached out to touch her, and then recoiled it's paw and shrieked. It ran past her and to another place in the room, there was Tidalwave, he was sleeping. They ran up to him and put something on his back.

Apocalypse looked around the room, there in every corner was her new friends (except for Blackstar she already knew him), chained up. The scavengers did that to everyone until they got to Eclipse, they hesitated and put a chain around her and her snout. They ended up putting strong thick chains on each of her limbs. Why are they doing that? Apocalypse thought. They clambered up to Eclipse's back and put the same thing on her back as they did with the others. Apocalypse looked at her foot, it still had the rock chain on. Maybe if I burn the chain instead of the rock. Apocalypse thought, she reached for her foot with her wing and stopped, she tried again, it was just out of her reach! Apocalypse looked at her friends, who were just starting to wake up. Other than Blackstar who was already awake. Are they putting rocks are our back? Apocalypse thought, she looked closer and saw that thing things are their backs were rocks. Smart scavengers. Apocalypse watched in amazement as the scavengers shrieked, and ran to her friends and put muzzles on them. The scavengers suddenly faced her and put a rock muzzle on her. Apocalypse thrashed, trying to get the rock muzzle off. She soon heard a snort, she faced her friends as they made muffled laughs at Eclipse. Eclipse soon woke up and rolled her eyes, thrashing and trying to get out. Apocalypse soon heard some more noises, she looked quickly up, she saw a very scavengers as they strolled up to each dragon and had what looked like a mini scroll and a ink pen and started writing randomly. What? Apocalypse thought. They are, writing? As much as Apocalypse was surprised she was curious. Why are they writing? More squabbles. She watched as some scavengers walked up to each of her friends.

They approached so close to each of her friends that Apocalypse thought they were going to suicide. A scavenger didn't approach her though. They kept far away. Apocalypse watched as suddenly the scavengers jumped on top of her friends backs and shoved the rock off, revealing a leather like thing. The scavenge started yelping frantically as each of her friends protested. Are they... trying to ride us? Apocalypse thought.

Apocalypse wriggled in her chains. She looked at the rocks muzzle and moved her snout. It was in front of her horn so she could get it off. She moved the muzzle slowly off. She looked up. Nobody's looking, good timing. Apocalypse thought. She saw the rock chains. The metal chains were farther down. I need to get this shot. Apocalypse thought. She slowly felt the fire rising up her mouth. 3, 2, 1, GO! She breathed a small chain and it broke the chain. Yes! Apocalypse thought. She slowly reached the chain on her foot. As soon as she touched it it broke. She looked up. Apocalypse jumped up and roared. The scavengers shrieked and ran out the cave door. She breathed fire on her friends chains and she freed them.

"LET'S GO!" Eclipse roared, flying fast out the cave. Apocalypse flew out with her friends. She quickly got blinded by the sunlight for 2 seconds, Apocalypse flew into the sky and dove under the trees.

"Thanks what you did back there." Keo suddenly appeared, smiling.

"Can't believe I was muzzled." Apocalypse heard Eclipse mutter.

"I can't believe they put rocks on us." Keo said.

I can't believe that happened. Thought Apocalypse.
