Chapter thirteen (Shadowhorn)

"Shadowhorn wake up!" A familiar voice said. Shadowhorn felt a cold talon pushing his chest, he tried to breath and started choking. He felt some mud come out of his mouth. He took a deep breath, his vision cleared and he saw Keo pushing on his chest as if he was trying to win a contest for pushing the hardest on a dragon that just passed out from the current fall.

"I'm... fine. Shadowhorn said as he flipped over on his side. He quickly stood up, his sides hurt. "Where is Blackstar? Tidalwave? Sapphire? Stormgrazer?" He asked, scanning the bank for any of his friends.

"Umm." Keo said, "We found them, but Blackstar hasn't woken up yet." Shadowhorn flew over to Blackstar's still body. He started to push on Blackstar's chest, he didn't budge he was as cold and as hard as a stone.

" Wake up Blackstar!" Yelled Shadowhorn in between breathes. As he, Keo, and Tidalwave pushed at Blackstar's chest. There was a sickening crack as Keo shoved into one of Blackstar's ribs and it cracked.

"Uh-oh. What are we gonna tell him if he wakes up." Keo said.

"OW"said Blackstar in a tired voice.

"He's awake!" cried Stormgrazer and Tidalwave in an almost unison.

"Meteorites and mackerels!! I was never dead just got knocked out from my bro's Darkstalker's Fiery breath!" Said Blackstar in is know-it-all voice

"Blackstar you never saw 'bro', and it was his talon not fire. You should lay down." Eclipse said.

"Agreed" Tidalwave said. "Maybe it was because he got hit in the head hard."

"Look on the bright side, at least he's alive." Shadowhorn said.
"Oh, Now you sound like Eclipse."said Blackstar babled.

"HEY" Shadowhorn roared.

"That is offensive!" Eclipse yelped.

"Well the truth has to be told." Said Blackstar

"Well the snout should have three gatekeepers, is it kind, is it true, & is it necessary." said Stormgrazer. "And what you said was neither of those."

"Now you sound like Starflight." Replied Blackstar.

"That's also offensive to me!" complained Eclipse

"Thank you!" Stormgrazer cheered. "Nothing like spreading an argument. It's really really fun!" He chirped trying to create a bigger argument knowing that they were ignoring him.

"But you're a Voidwing, so don't hide it" Blackstar pointed out. Eclipse rolled her eyes and glared an evil glare in response.

"You know I can shut that mouth of yours gladly. Some chains would look good, or are they too heavy for you?" Eclipse sniped at Blackstar.

"Oooh... Burn" Said Stormgrazer with glee.

"Stay here." Eclipse said. Tidalwave didn't listen he just flew off to look for fish. "I'll go follow him" Shadowhorn volunteered.

"Can I go... " Blackstar asked.

"What for?" Apocalypse interrupted in her curious voice.

" ...to go claw him!"Blackstar said in his It's-so-predictable-for-you-to-know-what-I-am-going-to-do voice.

Everyone stared at him, "Ummm... let me think about it" Said Shadowhorn, "NO"

Shadowhorn said sounding like someone he wasn't. Shadowhorn and Blackstar yelled at each other for about 5 seconds because Tidalwave was coming back from his short suspicious trip holding something Shadowhorn couldn't make out.

"Fish?" Eclipse asked.

"FRUIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!" Keo Roared with excitement.

Blackstar glared at Keo.

"Only bark, I wanted to see your reactions and they were hilarious!" Tidalwave giggled.

"Now can I claw him?" Blackstar asked.

"Yes!" Everyone else said in a unison.

"What No!!!!!!!!!!" Tidalwave yelped.

" I feel so sorry for you Tidalwave which I rarely do." said Stormgrazer smacking his face with his talon.

After Blackstar tackled Tidalwave, Eclipse ripped Blackstar off of Tidalwave.

"NO FIGHTING, WE NEED TIDALWAVE." Eclipse roared at Blackstar, her eyes glittered dangerously. Stormgrazer looked at Tidalwave. So did Eclipse. "You okay?"

"Yeah, thanks." Tidalwave squeaked back to her, he slowly got up. As soon as her got up Eclipse slapped him on the head.

"That was not cool though." Eclipse growled. Stormgrazer looked up at Darkstalker.

"How are we going to defeat him?" Stormgrazer asked, "On one talon. He almost drowned Sapphire, Tidalwave, and Blackstar with his foot. On the other talon we could always take the risk of getting killed." Stormgrazer said with a grin that stretched all the way across his snout.

"Maybe we just have to lure him away." Shadowhorn piped in.

"Maybe, Maybe not" Blackstar said Superiorly, "I think my idea is better."

"And what's your idea" Shadowhorn said back Sarcastically.

"Um... I don't really uh... " Blackstar said back.

"I know" Shadowhorn said, "It's to serve Darkstalker as King for Eternity".

"How do You know!" Blackstar snapped back.

"I looked into the Fut..." Shadowhorn whapped his talons to his snout.

"I dare you to finish that sentence."Stormgrazer said, "You can see the future."

"Um no... "I um... can see the uh..." Shadowhorn stammered. Why did I say that? How do they know that I can see the past and the future? I have only known them for a few days. Shadowhorn thought. He glared at Stormgrazer, Stormgrazer sent a glare back. He turned away and looked at the rising sun as though they were having a staring contest, he looked away afraid of going blind. Keo appeared before them.

"Hai!" Keo said weirdly.

"What the.." Shadowhorn said as he took a step back.

"Stop yapping you two!" Eclipse scolded. "Don't you remember that a giant indestructible dragon is right there? And Shadowhorn, it is very easy to guess that you can see the past and future."

"WWWHHHAAATT?" Keo, Sapphire, Apocalypse, and Tidalwave said weirdly in a unison. Shadowhorn looked down shamefully. Why did I hide it? Of course Stormgrazer would read my mind. But Eclipse and Blackstar are to nice to do that right. Shadowhorn thought.

"Wait you can see the Past?", Tidalwave said,

"Wait you can see the Future?" Sapphire said,

" Wait it's obvious." Apocalypse said.

"Ugh" Shadowhorn mumbled.

Wait is something wrong? Shadowhorn thought. He got a massive headache as he looked Into the future. The snowy home Shadowhorn knew was deserted, in the castle he saw a lifeless body in the throne room. Shadowhorn recognised the body. He saw a black dragon hover over her, he recognized the black dragon, Darkstalker. Shadowhorn gasped.

"Are you okay?" Apocalypse said confused.

"Um... you guys... Glacier... Queen Glacier... is dead.." Shadowhorn managed to gasp out.
