Lani

Last night was probably the best night of my life. We went out to eat for Treys' birthday then went to the movies. We ended up getting kicked out cause Trey and I kept talking during "It"

I mean why would the little boy even put his hand in the sewer? Just go home and have your friend make you another boat.

I still haven't talked to Alex and I refuse to talk until she acts right. Trey knows what's going on between us and he's trying not to get involved.

I rolled over in bed and opened my eyes to see Alex.

"A good morning would be nice," Alex mumbled playing with my hair. "Good morning." I sighed softly.

We don't even go to bed naked anymore and it's been one day. One day! We sleep with a pillow between us.

I crawled on top of Alex grabbing my glasses, she held onto my waist keeping me in place. "You plan on ignoring me all day?" She rubbed my thighs licking her lips.

"Of course." I touched the tattoo on her neck.

I quickly got off her and ran to the bathroom. Alex knows when I'm mad and how I act but the thing is she doesn't know what to do.

I stripped out of my clothes and turned on the water, I got in once it was at a temperature I like.

All she wants is sex! Nothing else but to see me naked in bed and it's so annoying cause she expects me to get naked the minute she walks in.

I brushed my hair under the water looking down at my feet. Another thing is Alex is to damn clingy! She doesn't let me breath when I need to.

"Are you done? I'm waiting for you." Alex pushed the curtain out the way. "Did you take a shower?" I turned the water off and put my brush down.

"Yeah."

Alexs' mom is coming over tonight and I just have to act happy for a couple of hours.

I brushed passed her before picking up my phone and called Lexi, when things aren't going so good in my life I talk to her. Lexi gives great advice on relationships because we always act like we're together.

Alex

I miss my mom because I need someone to talk to. I'll admit I'm a lot to handle and that I do things without thinking. I promise myself that I'll become a better person.

"You're gonna get sick in this weather." Lani sat beside me on the brick steps. "It's not to bad." I shrugged while she wrapped a small blanket around us.

"I made you a sandwich if you're hungry." She laid her head on my shoulder.

"Thanks."

"Mhm." I looked at our hands and thought about how long we've been together. "I'm not mad anymore," Lani said taking hold of my hand

"Three years I get it but we need to work on self-control." She added in.

I agree that I need to work on myself but it's hard, especially when I don't see the problem but Lani does. I'm used to getting whatever I want when I want it, and when I don't I start to act out.

"Not today, okay? My momma coming over and I don't want her in my business." I mumbled kissing her forehead.

"That reminds me, we have to go grocery shopping." Lani stood up taking my hand pulling me up. I groaned as she shoved the car keys in my hand.

"Gimme a kiss."

I smiled kissing her roughly, putting my hands on her face. "You little nasty tryna fuck me out in public." Lani said walking ahead of me."And I bet you'd like it." I smirked sitting in the driver's seat.

I sat on the kitchen chair watching Lani and my mom cook. "Go get your brother." My mom said pointing into the living room. Her real name is Amyia but she doesn't give people her government name.

"Trey!" I yelled observing Lani's figure.

"I hope you're not thinking nasty." My mom chuckled cutting up carrots. "I wouldn't be surprised." Lani turned around quickly kissing me.

"This food ain't the only thing getting ate." I winked as she rolled her eyes.

Trey came in kissing both their cheeks and sat next to me.

"Did you tell your sister about your little girlfriend?" My mom asked but Trey ain't say nothing."She broke up with me." Trey said scratching the back of his head.

Lani rushed to his aid giving him a hug and wrapping her arms around him. She kissed his head softly.

"Ew, you're sweaty." I took a napkin wiping Lanis' neck down to her breast. "Okay, we're almost done." My mom said pushing the lasagna into the oven before leaving the kitchen.

I lightly pushed Trey off Lani then grabbed her by the waist.

"Mm daddy I missed you." Lani kissed me as I picked her up sitting her on the island, I smirked as she moaned into my mouth, pulling my hair kissing down my neck.

"I missed you too." I smiled running my fingers through her hair then kissed her forehead.

"I'm just... gonna go," Trey said covering his eyes and walked away. "You're gonna get me in trouble," I said helping her down from the island.

"Go clean up the foods almost done." Lani washed her hands in the sink then grabbed mine.

"I wouldn't be surprised if you poisoned my plate." I laughed while she looked at me in the corner of her eye. "Maybe I did, maybe I didn't." Lani grinned shrugging her shoulders.

"We'll just have to find out."

She's admitting that she poisoned my food, I know Lani's out to get me.

"Listen, I just want to say I'm sorry for not moving to South Carolina with you. I know you wanted me to go but I just couldn't." I kissed her knuckles softly while she smiled.

"It's okay, I know you wanted to finish school first and that's completely understandable." Lani kissed my cheek then let my hand go.

If I had moved with her a lot of things could've been avoided over those three years but I chose to stay here.
