Alex
"Good afternoon," I said looking at Lani on FaceTime. "Good morning baby," Lani mumbled rubbing her eyes.
"Did y'all sleep?" I asked as she yawned pushing her hair back.
"Yeah, I just woke up." Lani sat at the table putting her head down. "I'll call you right back," I said as Lani gave me a thumbs up.
I couldn't go to sleep last night, I wanted Lani by my side, I sleep better when I'm with her. She's so calm and warm with her body on top of mine.
"Ont want no one caught lacking tonight, that'll fuck up everything." Ashton stood in front of us while our gear was passed out.
"If one drops pick em up, leave no one behind." He gave out our mask and they were interesting.
"Dali? Junts nice."
Dali is known as Salvador Dali a famous painter, photographer, and whatnot. Lani always wanted to fuck with a mask on but we never got to do it.
"Do whatever y'all gotta do then when it's 10 we gotta dip." Ashton will always be ready for anything and everything.
I nodded my head and got up going back to my room, I'm ready for this even if it takes all day. This is just the beginning of destruction and I can tell you there's more to come.
I changed my clothes to all black and taped the bottom of my shoes. I smiled while Lani's name came across my phone.
"Ooo look at my daddy," Lani said as I put my hair into a tight ponytail then braided it. "Wassup baby." I laid against the headboard listening to Lucas's soft coos.
"Nothing just spreading love." She smiled as her eyes lit up. "Baby, Papa learned something! I don't know how he figured it out but he did!"
"Show me," I said while the sun fell on her. "Papa, gimme a kiss." Lani puckered her lips and Lucas moved his face towards her, making a kiss like motion.
"Good job Papa!" I clapped my hands with the biggest smile plastered on my face. He's so smart and he surprises you with anything.

"Ooo daddy you looking sexy." I smiled as Alex blew me a kiss touching her ponytail. "Baby?" I pushed my hair back as Alex strapped her vest down under.
"Wassup?" She looked at me and I smiled showing my teeth. "Wife, I miss you." Alex groaned softly while I kissed her through the phone.
"I miss you more."
"I'm leaving soon," Alex said. "Close your eyes," I mumbled before saying a quick prayer.
As much as I hate Alex going to work there's nothing I can do about it. "Igh baby I'll talk to you later," Alex said kissing me through the phone as I grinned ear to ear.
"Papa let's go eat," I mumbled picking up Lucas, we eat together and he doesn't complain not one bit.
I looked at the door after hearing two soft knocks. "Ah, we have guests."
"My two favorite people." Niah smiled before kissing my cheek. "I haven't seen you in forever!" I walked upstairs and continued to feed Lucas.
"Where's my best friend?" She laid on the couch turning on the tv. "Alex is in Chicago," I said as Niah groaned.
"That's crazy."
"I know but what can you do," I wiped Lucas's mouth before taking him out of his high chair, then brought him to bed. We put pillowcases around him so he doesn't fall
"I'm glad your here," I mumbled coming over to Niah then laid my head in her lap.
"You gotta touch behind my ear," I said as Niah moved to the skin behind my ear. She's gentle with it but Alex does it better.
"Let me know if you want me to change spots," Niah said turning the tv volume down.
I closed my eyes blocking out all the other noises. I can't wait to see her again, although we've spent years apart it's still difficult
Not being able to wake up with each other? That's the toughest part of this whole thing.
