Lani
I sat at the top of the stairs patiently waiting for Alex, she hasn't called me or texted me. It's 3 in the morning and I've been up waiting for Alex. If she's held up I'll understand but you can always text or call me.
I sat at the steps until 4:30! Waiting for Alex to come home! She's to busy working a job that could kill her! I sighed looking at the doorknob rattle. Alex better not hit me with no sweet shit.
"Hey, baby." Alex put her keys down on the table by the door. "Don't hey baby me." I stood up in front of her slapping her hand away as she tried to touch me.
"What's wrong with you?" Alex looked me up and down.
"You know what time it is? Did you expect to come home and I'd be naked?" I flipped my hair letting it hit my shoulder.
"That'd be nice." She winked at me and I gave her the finger before walking away.
"Yeen make me anything to eat?" Alex followed me while I opened the fridge. I rolled my eyes before taking last night's leftovers and grabbing a plate from the cabinet.
"I don't want Chinese food." Alex sat down on her phone. I sighed loudly and slammed the cabinet shut.
"I can't read your mind Alex! I don't know what you want if you don't tell me! You didn't tell me what you wanted to eat!" I'm tired and frustrated, I've had enough of her childish behavior.
"I shouldn't have to tell you."
I threw the plate on the floor watching it break into pieces. I'm not crazy but if you push the wrong button then something's bound to happen.
"You're such a nuisance and you're so obnoxious and cocky!" I yelled moving past her as she grabbed my hand.
"I'm tired of your ungrateful ass! You don't appreciate me no matter how many times I take you back! For once get your head outta your ass!" I snatched my hand away from her.
"Then stop taking me back! I never asked you to fight over me, there's plenty of people who want a chance with me!" Alex said shaking her head.
"One day I'm gonna be done with your sorry ass." I chuckled brushing past her.
I went into our room and threw her things out into the hallway. We're certainly not sleeping together, I threw her clothes for tomorrow and a blanket out in the hall.
"Don't throw my shit like that!" Alex picked up her things while I threw more of her clothes.
"When you need me imma be gone," I said plainly as I closed the bedroom door and locked it.
I'm not being extra but like I said when you need me the most I'm not gonna be around. I'm upset with Alex and that attitude she's picked up. That's not my fiancé out there... that's the devil.
Alex
I had to sleep on that hard ass couch while Lani slept on the bed. I have nothing to say to her if she wanna act childish then let her be.
"I need my jacket." I knocked on the door as Lani cracked it open. "Take it and get out," Lani said plainly opening the door.
I watched as she took off her robe and went back to bed. Just cause we're mad at each other doesn't mean I can't slide.
"I just wanted to say I'm sorry for being disrespectful." I put my arm through one sleeve then the other.
"I thought I told you to get out." Lani signaled me to get out and I did. "I love you," I said laying my head against the door.
"Go away!"
I don't even care about her, she's just a stuck up little brat who has everything given to her.
"A stuck up insecure brat," I said it loud enough for her to hear me and she did.
She came rushing down the hallway with her hair tied and a whole outfit on. Not like she was gone try to beat me up, she loves me too much.
"You said I'm a what?" Lani tied up her hair and fixed her sweatpants.
"You know what I said." I tried scooting passed her but she blocked me.
"Say it to my face and see what happens."
Remember folks Lani is smaller than me, therefore, I will fuck her up if she tries some shit.
Lani pushed me with her shoulder so I pushed her back. There's only a matter of time before I hurt this little girl.
"Yeen gone bust n-" I started off and she punched me in my mouth. Then we started going at it man, I was getting some good hits on her but she was fucking me up.
I felt like a bitch for pulling her hair but I can't let her beat my ass. We knocked stuff down on the floor pushing furniture out of place. She busted my lip and bruised my cheek, my body was aching all over the place.
"Say, uncle." Lani hovered over me grabbing my shirt. I scratched her eye up real bad and busted her cheek leaving half of her face red.
"Man fuck you!" That bitch put me in a leg lock and had me screaming for dear god.
"Uncle!" I screamed as she let me go. I laid there limp while she walked away from me.
"You're getting disrespectful with the wrong bitch." Lani sighed throwing my phone onto my chest
It must've fallen out while we were fighting cause there's a crack on the case Lani had bought me. I just need to get away for a while that's all.
I can't believe I actually fought Lani, I've never physically put my hands on her until now. I understand that I've been coming home late, but that doesn't make the situation any easier for me.
"I love you!" I yelled getting up from the floor. "Oh please!" Lani yelled in return as I sighed.
I'm not gonna say sorry for the fight because it was Lani who swung first and I just happened to retaliate. It's simply self-defense.
