I smiled singing to Lucas while I held him, he smiled showing off his gums.
"I just wanna see, I just wanna see how beautiful you are. You know that I see it, I know you're a star, where you go I follow no matter how far if life is a movie you're the best part."
I kissed his chubby face putting him down on the floor and sat next to him.
"Daddy and I aren't friends right now," I said sheepishly, I ran my fingers through my hair flinching at my own touch.
I leaned against the couch looking at my ringless finger, living on my own has given me some time to think about what I really want. Marrying Alex didn't sound like a bad idea at the time but this isn't it.
"Papa, I'm gonna cut my hair." I huffed finger combing it, some hair came out between my fingers.
I stopped all conversations with everyone and by everyone I mean Alex, Niah, Scarlett. I understand Alex was hurt but what she did to me after finding out was tragic. I've loved Alex for a very long time and I trusted her to never put her hands on me.
Taking Lucas doesn't seem like a big stretch, in my opinion, she didn't hesitate to go off on me so imagine how she'll react to Lucas. If Alex feels bad then I don't know because this isn't something I can get over easily.Do you think I want to be here? Lucas could easily hurt himself and what can I do besides rush to the hospital.
I took my phone off the couch sliding across on the green icon accepting the call. "Hello," I said throwing in my attitude.
"It's Ashton, anyways my crew and I are gonna swing by." He got straight to the point. "Sure why not," I mumbled opening my mouth to say something else but he had hung up.
"Oo we have guest." I smiled as he crawled over to me, he sat in my lap while I texted Lexi. Lexi and I are still best friends we just started doing our own thing.

I ignored the call tucking my phone in my pocket. Nobody can say I'm taking Lucas away from Alex because that's not the case? If Alex wants to see Lucas, then she can come over pick him up and do whatever, what happens between me and Alex as a couple won't affect us as parents.

"Wassup," Lexi said coming inside the house and plopped down on the couch, I sat down putting Lucas in her lap.
"Alex had gone to Chicago and I told her not to because I just gave birth and I needed help. Of course, she didn't list- bro hold on." I groaned getting up to open the door.
"Let's get this over with." Ashton came in and pulled me into a big hug rubbing my back. "Ash this is my best friend Lexi, Lexi this is Ash." They said their hellos and moved on.
"Alex went to Chicago and she was supposed to be gone for a year. You could see why I didn't want her to go, but before she left she gave me permission to do anything with her friends. At first, I was like 'um okay' but then it happened."
