"Good morning papa." I grinned picking up Lucas covering his face with kisses. He cooed as a smile crept on his face. "I'm cutting my hair today, are you excited?" I laid him on his back changing his diaper from last night to a new one.

" I'm truly sorry for accusing you of taking Lucas away from me." Alex uncrossed my arms taking my hand in hers.
I sighed letting her go. "You just don't get it, do you? You can't apologize for something like that."
"But if it was Niah you'd accept the apology." Alex scoffed as I rolled my eyes walking away. "Goodbye," I mumbled leaning over to kiss Lucas.
Alex grabbed my hands pulling me towards her yet again. "What you did with Niah means nothing to me but if you're done with me this time I understand."
She pulled me into a tight hug resting her face in the crook of my neck. "Look at me." I cooed letting her stand up straight, I wiped her tears with my thumb and smiled.
"I love you so much."
I kissed her forehead softly giving her a chance to regain herself. No, I'm not taking her back just yet but I wanna see how far this can go.

I ran my fingers through my hair admiring my cut. Throughout the day my mind has been real blank, for a while people always told me that I'm to forgiving or that I took her back to soon.
"Papa, you ready to go?" I cheesed coming up the stairs. "Wow! You look good." Alex took hold of my waist and I smiled wrapping my arms around her neck.

He seems to be having fun over here. "We're gonna sleepover tonight," I said still holding onto her.
"Why'd you leave?" Alex sat down on the couch, I plopped down right next to her.
"I left because I was scared. I never expected you to get physical with me after everything I been through." I said softly taking her hand.
"I just get scared sometimes because you might find better. I'm not ready to go through that." Alex looked down at the floor, I lifted up her chin giving her a weak smile.
"You remember our tutor session when I was ready to give up? You said 'it's okay princess, I won't let nobody hurt you.' I fell so in love with you after that."
Alex always made me feel like nothing could hurt me cause she's right beside me. There's good in Alex it's just hard to get it out of her

I looked at Lani with her arm covering her forehead, Lucas slept in his crib next to the bed. We haven't been this close in a while because Lani still can't stand being in the same room with me.
"It's rude to stare." Lani opened her eyes as I propped myself on my elbows. "You're my wife, why can't I look at you?" I questioned furrowing my eyebrows.
"I'm not your wife because there's no ring on my finger." Lani waved her hand in my face before rolling onto her stomach.
"Can you stop and put the stupid ring on!" I huffed looking outside the window.
Lani raised her eyebrows staring at me. "Ridiculous." She said under her breath, I facepalmed myself feeling her side on the bed rise.
"If the ring is so stupid why'd you give it to me?" Lani stood by the bed grabbing her phone off the charger. "You know I didn't mean it like that."
