"You didn't call me all day, I don't like that," I said looking at Lani on FaceTime. "I'm sorry." Lani fed Lucas while they sat on the floor. "Come visit me." I played with my spaghetti tossing it around in the bowl. "What am I supposed to do with Lucas?"
"My mom can watch him for a couple of days." I put my food to the side and spread out on the bed. "You know I don't like that." She sighed cleaning up his mouth.
I scoffed before hanging up on her if you don't want to make an effort to come and see me then whatever. I haven't slept in awhile because I'm not sleeping right. My body isn't comfortable with sleeping by myself and it sounds crazy but it's true.
Lani would like FaceTime...
I ignored the call shoving my phone under my pillow. We're only two months in with this whole plan. Two months sounds crazy I know. Two months since I've held Lucas. I'm tired of phone calls! I'm tired of text messages! I want to be held and pampered by my wife and clean up diapers even if there drenched in pee! I'd be wrong if I made Lani come all the way here with Lucas but I miss them so much.

"I know we were planning to be here for a while but tomorrow night is a big night for us. Tomorrow is the big deal, if y'all mess up then I don't know."
I finally get to go home to my family! How great is that, I can finally lay down in a real bed with the woman I love. "It's gonna be hectic so we gotta strap up." Ashton passed out bulletproof vest.
"There's no plan, just be careful."
I'm happy that this is all coming to the end but damn we might be on the news with this one. "Y'all do whatever, get ready get some rest do anything." Ashton shooed all of us off and I smiled walking back to my room.
I laid on my stomach covering my head with a pillow, I got a couple of Glocks I don't use but I'm about to show out tomorrow. I got an FN P90, then there's my MAC 10, honestly, the list goes on and on.
I cleaned up a bit and started packing up my bags, I don't want to waste a second when I come home to Lani. I wanna cuddle as soon as I get there.
My boy Lucas raising hell and I can't wait to go spoil my little boy. Lucas deserves all of my attention and honestly, I haven't been doing the best job at giving him that but I'm gonna step up my game.
Both of them are gonna get everything they deserve and I'll make sure of it.
Lani
I've never felt better, I feel good considering I forgot about Niah. Now every time I see her, I see her as a friend. Lucas has been playing around lately trying to get active which is wonderful because I don't want him sitting on his little baby bum 24/7.
"Can I have a kiss?" I smiled puckering my lips letting Lucas grab at my face, it's clear that he's a mommas boy. I'm not blaming her but we don't know how Lucas is gonna turn out, I want Alex to be around more so no one can say she's not in the picture.
It's been two months since I've seen Alex even though it doesn't feel like it. I know she misses me and I know she's tired of FaceTime but it is what it is.
"Mmm you stinky man, it's diaper time," I said picking him up kissing him all over. "Look! Daddy's calling me!" I answered the phone. "Hi, daddy," I cheesed while wiping Lucas's bottom. "Wassup shorty." Alex smiled at me showing off her pearly whites, she has such a good smile.
"I'm just calling you to say I love you and I want you to pray for me."
"What are you talking about?" I picked up Lucas and my phone. "Tomorrow night is the big night, you gonna see me on the news." She chuckled looking at me.
Losing Alex is my biggest fear because I don't want to take care of Lucas by myself. When I gave birth to him, Alex was there so I want her every step of the way. "You just love putting all this pressure on me," I said putting away the play mat. "It's not easy on me either."
I let out a long sigh getting in bed. "You miss me?" Alex pushed her hair out her face as I nodded. "You know I miss you."
I miss Alex, the way she laughs, the way she cuddles into me when she's tired.

"I have this one, and this one over here," I said pointing to the tattoos on my arm, Lucas fell asleep so Alex and I are entertaining each other.
"I already know how much you like this one." Alex chuckled showing me the tattoo on her neck. "Since day one I loved looking at it."
My favorite thing to see on her fine ass. Every day since study sessions that's all I would look at.
"Ight baby I gotta go." Alex yawned while scratching her head. "Goodnight baby, I'll pray for you," I said getting up to turn the lights off. "I Love you." She said kissing me through the phone. "I love you too." I smiled blowing her a kiss then hung up. I laid on my stomach and rubbed Lucas's back.
"Daddy's gonna be alright, I promise." I closed my eyes and prayed in silence. I pray my baby comes back to me all in one, I hope she gets to see Lucas grow up and I hope we grow old together.
No matter what, she's the love of my life and no one could change that.
