I spy with my Hawk eye, Queen B in the courtyard with her band of Barbies this morning discussing the details of the annual Masked Ball... better known as the Masquerade Gala: a social event where Remington boys and Remington girls dress up for a night to be royalty. Countdown to the Gala: five days. Corset dresses and suits could be found everywhere. Everyone is getting ready for this most anticipated night of the semester. There's no better way to start the school year off than to be surrounded by people as fake as their money is real. How will this event play out? Only time will tell, Hawk.

"What are you wearing to the ball Brett?" Naomi, Brett's longest faithful Barbie asked. Brett looked her with gloating eyes.

"I'm still deciding between my custom made black and red Prada corset dress or my custom Gucci," she smiled. She saw her boyfriend of two years with a rose in his hand and stood up. "Excuse me," she said stepping around the group.

"Ryder what are you doing here. Shouldn't you be on the boys' side," she smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck. He placed his hand lightly on her hips and smirked.

"A guy can't talk to his girlfriend? Anyway, I was coming to ask you where you wanted to eat after the ball. Luigi's or Wan's?" he smiled. Brett thought for a second before she looked back to him.

"Wan's; he always prepares my sushi and seaweed just the way I like it when we come. Reserve our table?" she smiled raising an eyebrow at him. He nodded and pulled her closer to him.

"Horseback riding today?" he asked. She nodded and kissed him deeply. The Barbies turned away from Brett and Ryder's make out session. Ryder handed her the rose and smiled, kissing her one last time. Ryder left for Remington's boys' side after exchanging a goodbye with Brett.

I spy with my Hawk eye, Queen B locking lips with Prince Charming in the courtyard of Remington Prep; planning an evening, and a life. Prince Charming breaking rules to be with his queen. A single rose can win a girl's heart, but being a good kisser is a plus. Queen B really does have the world at her hands, but what will Queen B think of the new girl coming in from England? Where will the Dark Beauty stand with Queen B? Will she be a loyalist, or an anarchist? Only time will tell, Hawk.

An unknowing Kyndall walked straight into a distracted Ryder, her books flying everywhere. She sighed and bent down to pick them up, bumping her head with his as he was doing the same. She laughed and stood up, leaving her books alone for a second. With tan caramel-colored skin, wavy black hair that ended mid-back, tropical green eyes and a lean figure, this exotic vixen turned heads, including Ryder's.

"I'm sorry," Ryder laughed. Kyndall smiled and shrugged.

"It happens. I'm Kyndall Rosewood, but people call me Dolly," she said holding out her hand. He shook it and smiled.

"Rosewood? My dad's company just merged with the Rosewood Company. I'm guessing you just moved here from England. I can tell from your accent," he smiled. "I'm Ryder Davenport," he introduced. She nodded.

"Yes, my dad did merge with Mr. Davenport's company. We'll have to meet up again sometime," she smiled. He gathered her books and handed them to her. She thanked him softly. "Good luck on your first day," he smiled before he walked to Remington's boys' side.
