Ryder woke up and looked over to see Kyndall still fast asleep. He smiled and kissed her cheek gently. Looking down her partially covered body, his body twitched. Even sleeping, she turned him on. There was evidence of their night all over their bodies. Bruises from where he clutched her hips, bruises from where he kissed her neck, stomach and legs. He had a few marks on him as well. Deep scratches that ran down his back, bite marks on his shoulder, bruises on his neck and chest. Kyndall's eyes fluttered open and she looked at Ryder. Smiling, she rolled on top of him and kissed him gently before rolling off of him. His eyes swept down her body before going back to her face.
"I wouldn't wear a bikini for a while if I were you. I kind of left my mark... all over you," Ryder joked. Kyndall laughed and kissed his neck lightly. She pulled away and smiled.
"And you are all bruised up too," she said. He kissed her gently a few times before he smiled at her.
"That's okay," he shook his head. "I love you," he gleamed. She smiled and kissed him softly.
"I love you too," she whispered back. She sat up and stretched before she went searching for the scraps of clothes she had on last night. Finding her sports bra and shorts, and slipped them on and went to the bathroom. She brushed her hair and teeth before going back to the bed. She smiled and leaned over him, her hair falling over her shoulder in natural waves. She kissed him gently and giggled before she stood up.
"We're going to have to return to civilization eventually," she said, laughing. He pulled her over him and hitched her leg up on his hip. He kissed her deeply.
"No we can stay right here," he muttered against her lips. She sighed contently and closed her eyes as she kissed him back. There was a light knock on the door.
"Go away," Ryder mumbled smiling.
"It's important," James said. Sighing, Ryder rolled off of Kyndall and sat up.
"Okay," Ryder said. James opened the door and blushed when he sat Kyndall laying there with bruises all over her. He immediately looked away and looked at the floor.
"I actually needed to talk to Kyndall; it's about Brett," he started. Kyndall sat up and looked at him confused. "Brett got... a little drunk last night and told me something. She said... that she still loved Ryder. I know she was drunk... but that's normally when the truth comes out. Drunk talk is sober thoughts, my dad always said." James said. Ryder sighed and plopped back against the bed.
"Did you have to tell us that right now?" he asked. James blushed and looked at Rider.
"Sorry man, but she's been locked up in her room all day," James replied. Ryder laughed.
"So have we," he smiled. James chuckled, but Kyndall sighed and went to her bag. She put on some sweatpants and a shirt. Ryder looked over and frowned.
"Where are you going?" Ryder asked, sitting up. Kyndall ran her fingers through her hair and sighed.
"I'm going to go talk to Brett," Kyndall said. James stopped her.
"No, you can't do that. You know how she is, she'll start plotting. Anything you say can and will be held against you," James said seriously. Kyndall giggled and turned to fully face him.
"I'm going to go talk to my friend; I'm not being arrested," Kyndall laughed. James blushed and looked to Ryder for help. Sighing, he slipped his clothes on and stood. As much as he didn't want to have this conversation with Brett, he had to. He didn't want Brett getting in between him and Kyndall again; especially after they had just found a stable ground with each other. Not right now, when they were as close as they were. James watched Ryder walk to the door.
