I spy with my Hawk eye, time flying. My oh my, time flies when you're looking for dirt. But all I found was snow as December wind blew unusually cold this year. I was surprised to see a white trying to cover the ground, but it never sticks in always-sunny-California. Our Prince Charming is almost by Dark Beauty's side every time they're spotted. They were seen celebrating their two month anniversary at Shanghai-La. Poetic, don't you think? Looks like Queen B has finally retired her crown as well. She's as gentle as Mother Nature, more or less. She didn't even try to ruin Prince Charming's New Year's party. I think I even heard a bird sing at Remington. Dark Beauty has taken more than a few first place titles on her Diamond Dolls dance team and Fire Cheer Squad. This Baby Doll is going places. She has officially graduated from Dark Beauty to Baby Doll. We all know who she is now so it's not a mystery. She's not a Barbie, she's a Doll. She's nice and kind with hidden past and beautiful features. This Baby Doll is officially Barbie free. How long will that last though? And what will the end of January bring? Only time will tell, Hawk.

Nothing really changed at Remington, but at the same time, everything was different. Kyndall waited in the courtyard for Ryder. She smiled when she saw him. Her phone rang and she looked at it. She answered it and put the phone up to her ear.

"Hello?" she answered.

"Kyndall, so nice to hear your voice again sweetheart. I wanted to talk to you about Carter," someone said motherly. Kyndall face turned to one of realization.

"Okay, thank you. I-I'll call you back later," Kyndall said quickly into the phone. She hung up just as Ryder was walking up. Ryder looked at her curiously.

"Who was that?" he asked.

"No one," she said quickly. She looked towards the gate before she looked back at him. He looked at her confused and curious. She told him everything, why would she hide who she was talking to? He decided he would ask her about it later when there was less of an audience. He only nodded.

"Let's go then, you have practice today," he said. Kyndall looked out the window thoughtfully. Ryder looked her at her worried but didn't say anything. Whatever it was, she obviously didn't want to talk about it. He waited patiently while she practiced. By the time she got out, it was already eight. He took her home and then went home. He wasn't going to press her about it, but whatever it was stayed in his mind for two weeks straight. Kyndall continued to try to keep him from figuring it out. She also continued her phone conversations with Sarah. She would talk to Sarah every day. She would fakely smile at Ryder and keep up an act, but Ryder only pretended to buy it. Finally Ryder snapped. They were hanging out in Ryder's room. Kyndall was looking at the wall thoughtfully. Ryder held her gently on his bed and looked at the same wall she was staring at.

"Something's on your mind. Do you want to talk about it?" Ryder asked. She shook her head.

"There's nothing to talk about. You know practically everything," she said softly.

"Practically," he picked out. Kyndall looked at him. He looked away from her.

"I don't want to bring pieces of my old life here, but I can't help it; this piece is going to stay. And I actually need it to," she said softly, more to herself than him. Ryder was really confused now.

"Dolly what the hell are you talking about," Ryder asked finally looking at her. She shook her head.

"Nothing... just forget I even said anything," she said. She turned to look back at the wall. Rider sighed and moved from under her. He stood and looked at her. He was exhausted from trying to keep up this stupid act. He was frustrated that she was keeping something from him. He crossed his arms.
