CHAPTER 6 (we meet again)

Mira's POV

"I knew I'd find you here." sabi nya

'could it be?'

humarap ako sa nagsalita.

"T-Trey?" 

He's here. Standing on the front door. Wearing his beautiful smile that makes my heart jump like crazy. But now mas bumilis pa ang pagtibok nito kasabay na pagpapaalala sa akin ng isang malungkot na ala-ala. 

He still has those deep black eyes. Nakatingin sya sa akin with full of emotions. Still ' I can't read what it says.

After all this years, I did'nt expect to see him. 2 years have passed after I saw him. After he hurt me. After I left him. After we ended it.

I gave him a slight smile, It still hurts me to see him. Masyado pa din akong nasasaktan. Pero hindi ako magpapatalo sa sakit ng nararamdaman ko. Ayokong makita nya na nasasaktan pa din ako. Ayokong magpakitang talo ako. I composed myself physically to show him that Im not affected anymore, but deep inside I felt like Im already dead. Ayokong isipin nya hind pa din ako nakakamove-on sa kanya.

"what brought you here?" i said coldly while hiding the box behind me.

He smiled. God I missed that smile.

Pero hindi ako nagpahalata. Ano yun? ngiti pa lang bibigay na agad ako???? Never!

"well ' I just came to give you this." lumapit sya sa akin.

Napaatras ako sa ginawa nya.  Lumapit pa sya lalo sa akin. I can smell his masculine scent. He smelled different ngayon, hindi na gaya ng amoy nya dati na sweet. Pero shit! ang bango nya! I'm tempted to hug him, pero pinigilan ko ang sarili ko.

His face is almost close with mine. Kitang kita ko ang mga mata nya. Dark black deep eyes. Then he smiled.

Nanlambot tuhod ko. I kept preventing my eyes not to cry. My heart keeps pounding millions.

Lumayo sya at may ibinigay sa akin na papel. Nailabas ko ang pinigilan kong paghinga. I seemed so relieved. He still look at me, and smiled. Tiningnan ko ang papel na ibinigay nya sa akin. It's a ceontract for collaboration of two firms. Yung isa company namin nina lolo, at yung isa Delos Reyes States.

Wait, what? Delos Reyes? "what is this?". Tanong ko habang nakatingin ako sa papeles.

"It's our contract of agreement, collaboration ng dalawang company. Bilang tagapagmana ng Sarmiento, ikaw ang kailangang magbasa nyan. Alam na ng lolo mo ang tungkol dyan. Pirma mo na lang ang hinihintay ko." sabi nya.

'So that is why he's here. Ano pa nga bang ibang dahilan?' sabi ko sa sarili ko

"I'll just read it tomorrow in my office. Ipadala mo na lang sa secretary ko." sabi ko sa kanya sabay abot ng papel sakanya. "why won't you read it now?" tanong nya.

"Is it not considerable for me to rest for today. The last thing I remembered is pinagpahinga ako ng lolo ko ngayon. So walang dapat mang-abala sa akin, no papers, no signing or what so ever" i said coldly.

Napangiti sya. "wow! you're not the Mira I remembered!" sabi nya na nakangiti.

I smirked at lumakad palabas ng pinto. I can't stand to stay here anymore. Baka mamaya bumigay na ako at biglang yakapin na lang ang lalaking ito.

'dont be so sure about that Trey'  sabi ko sa sarili ko habang papalabas ng bahay.
