The water splashed as I washed my face in the bathroom. I finally took a shower a few minutes before and my naked body was freezing in there, while I was just looking in the mirror. I think I wasn't gonna get better anytime soon. My fater wasn't helping and it's not like he would understand anyways.Recently, I pushed Lauren aside. The only person that knows something about it since I used to rant a lot to my internet best friend.
My flow of thought was interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Hurry up, we have plans for today." was heard from the other side.
I sighef and looked at myself one last time before putting on some basic clothes and putting my hair up, with my messily cut bangs resting on my forehead.
The knock could be heard again and I stumbled on my words:"Oh my God, I'm coming, okay?"

We were sitting in my father's police car, and I was finally able to sit in the front. Since this guy is really shitty with stupid rules and protecting me from sitting where I want.
As always, we didn't say a word and the music was nowhere to be found. I just stared outside of the window, imagining a whole different life I could be having.
But the car stopped soon. The big green area with a wonderful garden was staring at us. A hotel like house was standing proudly in the middle of it, and I realised what was supposed to happen today.
My uncle's house.

The Cabello family was fairly small, but a part of it was very sucessfull.
Who would have thought that having a toilet paper company could bring you so much money?
Maybe that's what Kelly was talking about that one day... Ohhhh!
I looked all over the huge garden as my dad opened the door of his brother's house. We entered into a modern but still classy room with empty space and decorations. It seemed like it was a teleportation room that could take you anywhere with all of those doors and stairs.
"Hello!" we both jumped up at the surprise of a woman yelling behind us. How did she get there?
It was the wife, Candice Cabello. A proud main secretary plus a money man of the company.
Her shiny black hair was cut short and her red suit fit well with the whole decor of the place.
"Hey Candy, where's Tom?" they hugged, leaving me behind as she lead my dad into another room while talking about something. I quickly followed and sighed at the realisation this was gonna be a long day...

"...And then we were planning to start a new marketing idea." Tom, my father's brother, explained while we were all eating on the big fancy table.
We were all there, my dad and I, grandma, and the succesfull side of the Cabello family.
Thomas, Candice, Joyce and Patrick.
But who would remember all of that anyways?
"Ah, yes, marketing..." my dad pretended to understand.
"Phil, don't pretend you're a smart guy all of a sudden." grandma said while eating. The perfect family all shared the same annoying giggle that seemed to run in their family. Not ours. Or... We never really found out since we don't laugh anymore.
"Oh, granny..." the wife started again. "Maybe they do get it. Say, Camila..." she leaned in a bit to my side. "What do you think about our marketing of the newest product?"
