Kai walked out of his last class trying to find Ein. He walked around constantly checking his phone to see if Ein called or texted.

'Hm maybe he's still in class?' Kai thought.

He walked to Ein's last period class and waited. As the late bell rang for those who still had classes Kai grew worried. Ein hated his last class. He would rush out so quickly it would take you a minute to realize he was gone. Kai felt worried and started to run around school looking for him. Tears brimmed at the corner of his eyes but he held them back.

'Maybe he went home?' He thought to himself in a attempt to calm himself.

He pulled his phone out once again and started to call Ein. He didn't pick up. Kai tried to call 3 more times and left thousands of texts. Kai started to run around again looking for Ein. Once he was outside he ran to the back of the school. Nothing. He finally decided on checking Ein's house and ran across the road to Ein's street. Once he reached Ein's house he rang the bell. Once the door open, there stood Ein. His face filled with shock as he looked at his boyfriend. Kai was sweeting and tears had gotten loose once he saw Ein. Immediately Kai trapped Ein in a hug.

"What's wrong Kai?" Ein asked, this time he was worried.

Kai didn't answer he was still sobbing.

"Y-you..should have..told me you left!" Kai exclaimed taking a few shaky breaths.

Ein smiled at his short boyfriend and picked him up.

"Sorry baby, my mom called me home early today and told me to clean a bit." Ein explained.

"For what?" Kai asked looking up at Ein.

'Did he really forget it's his birthday today?' Ein thought to himself.

He shook his head telling Kai to not worry about it and that's exactly what Kai did.

"Why don't you come back later tonight?" Ein asked Kai.

"Sure.." Kai answered.

Ein gave Kai another kiss before Kai went back home. Kai just did his homework before he got a text from Ein.

"Come at 6:30" Ein texted.

Kai smiled and continued with homework. Ein was a really sweet boyfriend. Overprotective but sweet nonetheless. Kai waited impatiently unable to focus on his homework.

"Ugh why does tomorrow have to be Friday! I don't wanna do the stupid homework! I hate whoever invented homework!" Kai exclaimed throwing his hands up.

Kai started to pay attention and decided to set up an alarm for 6 incase he got into the homework and lost track of time.
He finished his English, Global and biology homework all that was left was math. Before he could start it his alarm went off. Kai got up and got ready. Taking a quick shower and wearing a casual black hoodie with grey skinny jeans and black sneakers. He still had some spare time left so he decided on looking at his math homework. It seemed pretty easy so he zoomed through it and used google for the ones he didn't understand. He shoved everything into his bag after he finished and left the house.
He didn't have to tell his parents because they knew where he would most likely be and Kai would always text him a little later so it was safe for him to leave. He ran down the streets and to Ein's house. He knocked on the door impatiently. He missed his boyfriend. Once the door opened Kai was pulled inside.

"Happy birthday baby!" Ein exclaimed causing everyone to jump out.

"Surprise!" Everyone screamed happily as some threw confetti at Kai.

"Thanks guys!" Kai thanked as he realized he forgot his own birthday.

Aphmau walked up with Aaron and gave a bag to Kai. Garroth, Vylad and Zane came up and congratulated him on his turning 16 age and gave him a new phone case he had been dying to have. Laurence, Dante and Travis just gave him a hug considering how they were irresponsible and only cared on flirty until the last minute when they realized they didn't know what to get him.

"How'd you get Zane to come?" Kai asked.

"I dragged him out!" Vylad exclaimed in a cheery tone.

"Oh..um okay then buddy!" Kai said a bit scared. 

Zane rolled his eyes and sat on the couch trying to fall asleep on Travis' lap.
Everyone started the small party they threw for Kai who giggled throughout the whole party. Travis however was trying not to wake up the sleeping Zane. Travis knew very well that Zane would kill even him if he awoke him. Zane rolled around as loud noises admitted from the kitchen. Kai was happily playing around with his friends forgetting his stress at home. Alas this party couldn't go on forever. Everyone soon started to leave.

"See you guys tomorrow!" They all exclaimed happily except Zane who was still groggy.

Kai giggled and soon it was only him and Ein at the house. They started to clean up the mess which took only a few hours. Soon it was 11:30 and Kai had to leave.

"Well I should go too" Kai said as he headed for the door.

Ein walked up behind him and gave Kai a passionate kiss before giving him a sad look letting him go.

"I'll see you tomorrow baby!" Ein exclaimed as Kai walked home with a smile.

"Love you Ein!" Kai exclaimed.

"Love you too!" Ein responded closing the door after Kai was no longer on his block. His parents came home not long after Kai left.

Ein went to bed after having a small conversation with his parents. Kai however forgot to tell his parents he was out and has to sneak into his room which failed miserably, but since it was his birthday he was let off easily. Kai sighed and fell back onto his bed as he slowly started to fall asleep. Before he was fully asleep he took his clothes off and changed into his pajamas. He turned the light off making the lamp automatically turn on. He got in bed sending Ein a text message and immediately getting one back before turning the lamp off and falling asleep.
