Garroth walked by himself to the soulmate teller. He was nervous. Very nervous. He was afraid where his string might appear. He didn't want it to appear anywhere other than the neck and ring finger. He arrived at the temple the soulmate teller lived and worked at. He opened the door nervously before walking in and to the door in front of him.

"H-hello?" Garroth called out.

"Oh yes! Garroth Ro'Meave come in!" The girl said happily.

Garroth walks in and sits down in front of her.

"Give me your hand." She says in a serious tone her smile leaving her pale face coated with a light layer of foundation.

Garroth complied and gave her his hand.

"My! Your hand is smaller than most boys who've came here." She exclaims, shocked.

"Now that I think about it. You look smaller than most boys I've seen." She says.

Garroth felt concerned. He didn't know if it had been because of his eating disorder or if he was just born that way.

"W-will that affect my fortune?" Garroth asked, scared now.

"No no! I was just saying. Now I have a question. Do you know your sexuality?" She asked.

"A-actually. My father cut me off from the world. So I haven't been able to figure out if I preferred boys or girls." Garroth explains, blushing from embarrassment.

"Well. No matter! Your soulmate won't change because you don't know your sexuality. Now let me have a look!" She exclaims excited again.

Garroth gulped. He was nervous again.

"Oh my!" She exclaims opening her eyes.

"What's wrong?"

"Oh...it seems that..you don't have a soulmate." She said.

Garroth's heart dropped. He was hoping that he wouldn't get the string in a unnecessary area that he didn't like, but not having a soulmate at all? He was scared. He didn't know what to do.

"W-what...what should I do." Garroth asked. His voice shaking. He was scared.

"Hold on. Let me make a call." She said.

Garroth nodded his head and stayed put. She went to the back and made a call.

~ 2 hours later ~

"I'm here Star." Someone said opening the door to the soulmate teller.

"Ah! Laurence!" Star exclaimed.

"This is Garroth. Garroth this is Laurence. He came a month ago and he also didn't have a string either." She said.

"So this is the one who didn't have a string either huh." Laurence muttered.

He scoffed looking at the smaller boy in front of him.

"I don't want a boyfriend. I told your Star! I told you I was straight." Laurence whined.

Garroth held back a laugh.

"Laurence. Give him a chance. One week! If you still don't like him in one week then I'll find someone new!"

"How am I supposed to fall in love with him in one week!" Garroth asked.

"How about you guys start dating and act as a couple." Star said happily.

"Fine. But you have to promise!" Laurence said.
