Garroth cried as he ran back home. Laurence had just rejected his confession and it hurt more than he thought it would. Once he was home he slammed his door shut locking it not caring if his parents started banging or yelling. His life was messed up. First being pressured to train for a company you don't even want to take over. A suicidal brother, a hard school and family life , and to top it off, your best friend just rejected you and will probably never EVER want to talk to you again.

Honestly, Garroth was probably overreacting, but who wouldn't?

Garroth sat on the ground his head buried in his knees. His sobs soaked his school pants and arms.
Finally, Garroth had calmed his nerves. He got up and left his room, to the bathroom. Garroth cleaned himself up and changed his clothes to something more casual and comfortable. He finally went to his room and took out his 'journal'. He started writing everything down ever since Vylad died. His therapist suggested that he should start a journal or diary so he can let out his feelings without talking to anyone.

After Garroth had finally finished the new page in his journal dated today's date, he got ready to go to bed. Unable to sleep he stayed in bed scrolling through Finstagram. Scrolling for some bit until he saw something he wished to unsee. Laurence was in one of Lucinda's photos. He was kissing her cheek while she smiled. Garroth's eyes started to water again. He turned his phone off and slammed it on his bedside table. He tried falling asleep once more, but failing. He got up and walked to the kitchen grabbing water and some sleeping pills they kept in the kitchen cabinet. He took two pills and gulped it down with water. He walked back to the room and fell asleep after a few minutes.

"Gar-Gar wake uppp~" His mother sang.

"Morning mum."

Garroth's mum leaped down the stairs falling into his fathers arms.

"Now that's what you call a leap of faith." Garroth said chuckling as he watched his mother jump down the stairs.

"I can't believe we grew used to mom acting like this everyday." Zane said behind Garroth, which startled him.

"Good point." Garroth giggled before going into the bathroom and getting ready.

Garroth doesn't know why but he felt gooood.
I mean it's not everyday when you get rejected by your best friend and feel great the day after, right? Of course not for most people. For most individuals they are afraid that they had ruined such a wonderful relationship and it will never go back, but for others...they feel great. Such a heavy weight lifted off their chest and they don't want another one thinking about their friend or how the friendship will be from now on.

That's certainly not how Garroth felt. He was relieved that he got it out. He took a deep breath and to be honest..he felt like he could fly. He combs his hair to the side giving the cute but messy hairstyle.

He walked out of the bathroom after he finished washing up and down the stairs were he found Zane and his parents eating.
Garroth quickly grabbed himself his lunch box and grabbed a pop tart and left the house. He felt really excited and he didn't know why, but he liked it.
