Gene walked through the school hallways tormenting young teens like himself. He always found it interesting to see teenagers scurry off about to cry and do nothing about it. He didn't care much about nothing. Always getting in trouble, pretending to be a good brother doing good things, never going to class, bullying others. He did care about one thing, more like person, though.

This person is Zenix. A member of the Shadow Knights. He follows alongside Gene and does what he tells him to do. He's different from the rest of the group. He won't know what to do if they aren't there with him. He will panic and run around waiting for someone to tell him what to do. He's sweet and kind to his friends when they are alone but when they are in school or near anyone they know, like siblings, he will tease them.

Gene loves him. Yea he loves him. Weird right? The infamous Gene Ocean loves someone. It makes him angry, pissed, etc knowing that he can't have Zenix because Zenix is 'straight'. He would always yell at Zenix and make him do extra work because he thinks it's Zenix's fault that he feels so angry.

Zenix however does love Gene back. He doesn't want to tell Gene because he wants to stay close to him and not leave his side. He thinks Gene will think of him as a scum and kick him out of the group possibly adding Zane to replace him. He doesn't like it when Gene bosses him around and make him do extra work, yelling at him if he did it wrong, but he still does it to make Gene happy. He can only hope that Gene loves him back.

Zenix is thinking about confessing to Gene even if he's putting everything on the line. He walked through the school to the courtyard looking for him. He finds Gene and Sasha on the bleachers like always talking. He goes up, taping Gene's shoulder grabbing his attention.
Gene looks at Zenix an eyebrow cocked and his face showing confusion.

"What is it. I don't have time." Gene growled irritated on how Zenix was acting.

"I'll leave you guys alone." Sasha muttered leaving the bleacher to the other side of the court watching them and waiting to go back.

"Ok what is it?" Gene asked once again.

"G-gene I-I lo..ve you." Zenix stuttered closing his eyes tightly and holding his wrist with his other hand.

Gene stared at Zenix with disbelief. His long time crush has just confessed to him. All his anger washed away and he smiled. An actual sweet and loving smile. He grabbed Zenix's hand shocking the brown haired male.

"I love you too." Gene confessed standing up looking at Zenix.

A tear strolled down the brown haired males cheeks making Gene to pull him into a loving hug. He kissed Zenix's forehead and kept his chin on top of his head.

~ One week later ~

Gene has been happier the past few days. He wouldn't bully anyone unless they hurt his Zenix or if they offended him or just got him really pissed because they got too cocky. Gene held Zenix's hand walking into the school glaring at everyone letting them know that Zenix is his. The first bell rang and the two boys made their way to the bleacher where they found Sasha on her phone.

"Finally. What took you love birds so long?" Sasha said with her monotone voice.

Gene gave Zenix a kiss before walking over to Sasha hand in hand. Gene and Zenix have never kissed yet. Like on the lips. Only on the cheeks, forehead or nose but never the lips.

"Ya two live birds were probably making out." Sasha leans on her hand looking at the two.

"A-actually..we haven't kissed...on the lips yet." Zenix blushed feeling embarrassed, turning away.

Sasha was shocked and grabbed Gene.

"What happened to 'I want to kiss Zenix until we die from no air' ?" Sasha mocked.

"I don't want to move to fast. I can tell Zenix is still taking it in. The day after he confessed I kissed his cheeks and he said 'you like me?' I had to tell him what happened." Gene sighed looking back at his lover.

Sasha sighed and went back to the bleacher with Gene trailing behind. Once at the bleachers Gene pulled Zenix on his lap cuddling with him.

"Wanna vandalize the park?" Gene asked.

"Hell yea!" Zenix cheered while Sasha silently cheered.

They ran out of the school aiming for the park buying a few cans of spray paint and painted the wall of the bathroom stalls in the park. They looked at their art work smiling and running back to the school. They sat back down on the bleachers.

"That was fun! I felt so alive." Zenix said smiling big.

"Yea." Sasha replied.

"I always feel alive when I'm with you." Gene smirked.

Zenix blushed but kissed Gene on the cheek. Gene blushed slightly pulling Zenix onto his lap once more. Gene hugged Zenix close to him
feeling the body heat of the male.

"God dang it I love you so fucking much." Gene cursed and whispered to Zenix.

Zenix giggled and patted Gene on the head.

"Me too...me too."
